Premier League Table Predictions

sage

Recommended Posts

By the Friday 16th of October predict how you think the Premier League will finish.

You score 1 point for every place one of your teams is different to your prediction ie If you predict Liverpool as 1st and they come 2nd that's 1 point, Everton 5th and they come 8th, that's 3 points.

The poster with the lowest score wins.

I will keep all the scores and award an out of date £20 Nandos voucher as a prize.

Here is mine...

2. Man City

3. Spurs

4. Chelsea

Have seen some usually very sensible posters backing Everton for top 2 or even as champions - why???? They have started the season very well, and their first XI is very good, but they'll regress at some point, plus they still have no real depth in a season where that will matter enormously. I'm guessing people are backing them because of the DCL hype, respect for Ancelotti and a desire for a vaguely likeable club to break the Liverpool/City duopoly.

Frankly i think picking Man City to win the league is even more unbelievable than Everton finishing top 2. Citeh will struggle for top 4 for me.

We'll see. I think Liverpool were pretty lucky and City pretty unlucky last season and expect normal service to resume this year.

I don't believe in supernatural forces like luck, but both of them got exactly what they deserved last year. Performances on the pitch are what determines who wins and that is exactly why Liverpool won it. If City don't sort their defence out they aren't winning the league this year either.

Fair enough. Liverpool's defence doesn't look great either though
