It's a legacy of my roller coaster purchases from one manager to another.. We have loads of strikers and not one plays like the other and sometimes it's wildly different. We may be better off giving him away this summer for nothing, rather than letting his contract run down. We signed him for £2m on a 3.5 year deal. 1 year left so I think it’s a reasonable assumption that his ‘FFP value’ isn’t far off £750k. He’s reportedly earning more than £20k a week. His book value may well be more than £750k, because of residual values. I think I might have suggested that we try to sell for anything we can get, but Frankie may find a use for him, so we'll just have to wait and see.
