Fair play to the fans who created the group Tangerine Knights and all the Blackpool fans who protested and fought against such incredibly bad owners who genuinely despised Blackpool FC and their fans. I hope there is a swift resolution but somehow think the Oyston's will play dirty to the bitter end and try to destroy the club completely.

Convicted rapist Owen Oyston has not yet commented.

Unfortunately, the fans' nightmare is set to continue for a while longer...

"The Football League’s “owners’ and directors’ test” still considers the Oystons to be fit and proper, despite the high court finding that they conducted themselves improperly."

Might as well bin the test entirely. It's clearly inadequate.

What’s the deal behind him never being able to spend his conviction for rape, due to the length of the sentence? Has he been convicted of rape or not (yes, I think is the answer)? And if so, did he go to jail, or is it a suspended sentence of some sort?
