Derby County manager Gary Rowett has spoken of his frustration with his players’ involvement in social media in the past, and he joined talkSPORT on Wednesday to have his say on the issue.

He said players ARE educated about their responsibility on social media, by both the club and officials in the game.

However, the Rams boss concedes the lines between upholding that responsibility and interacting with fans often become blurred and the more inexperienced players sometimes get carried away.

They coach the inexperienced players not to be too sensitive when reading this forum

It's a story because Chelsea sent a player home from their tour in China due to a post he made on social media so the question must have been asked to Rowett whilst he was on the show

Its a bit like one of those old old five pound notes blue and expensive for what it actually is !!

GR's a great talker. Comes over very well always. Good non-verbals when you speak with him too...looks you in the eye and holds focus. I imagine he could be quite scarey though when he gives you the "hair drier".
