Carnero
Derbyshire 141/4 off 28.3 overs, chasing 216 off 49 overs. Please stay away rain/collapse, they've fully deserved to win this game against the mighty Notts.

Obviously they don't have the floodlights on for County championship games - or Notts are too tight and the two bob's gone.

Carnero
Bloody typical when a team is down on it's luck. A certain victory robbed away from them at the last minute.

dabber
Is it still up to the batsmen to accept the bad light and go off or can the umpires deem it is not safe and enforce it?

Mind you, looking towards Nottingham at the moment it looks a bit bleak.

Bridgford Ram
I am aiming to go to the Chesterfield Festival this year (the first day of the County game against Durham). Has anyone been? I have emailed the club some questions - Can I pay on the day etc a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything.

His figures are outstanding 26.3 overs, 120 dot balls, Mendis 26 overs, 2-80, 103 dot balls. His first innings figures 15-8-16-1, 90 balls, 79 dot balls. Add to that, not out in either innings, plus a catch! He's also the first person, born in the 21st century, to play in the County Championship. A 4-day wonder or a new super-star?
