I was just having a laugh mate, from your amount of DCFC involvement both on and off the forum I'm sure you're a die-hard.

Genuinely just went straight on the defence, Sorry bro haha.

And I go to all home games and most away games that I can!

I'm not going Saturday because it's on TV and I'm gonna be a Half fan this week but don't tell anyone

After being a tad mardy earlier..... this is a good thread.

Chris Martin no doubt should top the list.... record is there to see.

Stevie Howard will always create fond memories.

But I think the player who never gets enough credit here is Rob Hulse.

Always though he was much maligned here..... scored goals in a very poor Derby side, had I reckon a similar style to Martin, but with a tad more pace.

Got criticised a lot for being "lazy" which I couldn't fathom. The bloke had a lot of class about him. Would love to seen him in a Mac side at the age of Chris Martin.

I would put him on par with the wardrobe.

Also never knew that Lee Morris was our Under 16's coach.

He was coaching a pub side for a bit too on the side..... I'm sure theres newspaper article about it somewhere

It's tragic that he's not the worst.

The Nigel Clough misplaced XI:

GK: Saul Deeney

RB: Paul Green

CB: John Brayford and Rob Hulse

LB: Valentin Gjokaj

RM: Jeff Hendrick

CM: Ben Davies and Tom Naylor (probably)

LM: Craig Bryson

ST: Dean Moxey and a 15 year old

For me, even if we have fantastic success for the rest of my life, Dean Moxey "doing a job" will always be what Derby County is all about.

He played Luke Moore out of position too. He's actually a natural substitute

Remember Rob Hulse playing centre half at Watford last game of the season. Partnering a 16 year old Mark O Brien

I liked Hulse a lot, him and Commons were a very good partnership.

I genuinely couldn't believe that Steve Davies is only 28...

Seems like the bloke has been around for years.

But then my colleague just told me he was 19 when he signed for us and he looked about 30 then.

Madness.

He's older than that. Was in his 30's when he sang snooker loopy.

The team he managed was the Great Nothern on station road in mickleover, I believe, the team a few months earlier were The Waterfall but the guy that was manager moved to London and Morris took over when they changed name. I had been playing for them until about 6 months before Morris took over.

Also Nigel Clough had a difficult job convincing Ben Robinson to sign Morris for Burton.

Very classy pair...... just a shame we couldn't have that quality throughout the pitch..... sign of the times then I guess
