Some exotic ales pictured for sure. I'm heading to the fine city of Derby shortly to partake in some wonderful cask ale being offered by some terrific ale houses. Not being from Derby I'll look forward to engaging you good folk in banter on many subjects..... Then again I may just get drunk.

My first port of call is The Greyhound. Derby brewery Triple Hop 4.1% rather good (that's an under statement). Think I took the long route from the station. I ought to know Friargate from driving through it hundreds of times but walking is another matter. First visit to this pub.

I'd be excited too...... If I were going. Look forward to a full report, looks impressive on website. How much for a pint(500ml) couldn't see on site? I'm clenching my teeth :D

The tickets for each 4 hour session were about £50, so it’s as much free beer as you can reasonably queue up for and drink in that time. I easily spent that in 4 hours at Indy Man Beer Con last year so it seems a decent deal

Sounds quality mate. I'm currently in Silk Mill and about to head to Exeter Arms, beers have been terrific today. You Derby boys and girls have got some terrific pubs.

Make sure you drop in to the Tap while you're round that way - a quite comprehensive selection there.

Exeter Arms is my particular favourite, though. Dancing Duck, if I recall, my favourite of theirs is Dark Drake. Good pint of stout, that.

I've just passed The Tap and am in Exeter now. I'm rather bladdered but the ale is good quality and I've had plenty. Waiting to get my chariot back to South Manchester and am definitely Bladdered. Denise in the Exeter, top gal !
