Will Jake Buxton retain number 5? Will we find a number 7? Is George for real with this 34 nonsense? And does Nick Blackman even deserve a number? Just a reminder, for those who aren't used to football forums during the summer, of what purpose this thread usually serves: 1.) This is your chance to partake in one of the most exciting pastimes for any football fan: predicting the squad numbers. 2.) Every single image from the first training session must be scrutinised and studied on this thread for squad numbers. It doesn't matter if the squad numbers haven't been released yet, or that half the team is wearing the number 9 - what matters is that managers communicate to us through squad numbers and it is down to us to decode it. 3.) As EVERYONE in football knows, squad numbers are an exact and perfect demonstration of which players a manager prefers. So when the numbers are officially released, we can all panic that Will Hughes is still number 19 and therefore will be sold.
