MACKWORTHRAM Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 If we are after another defender then it must be someone is leaving. Maybe we have had an enquiry for one of our defenders? Chrstie? Keogh? Or an enquiry to take one on loan? Buxton? Shotton? Baird? Shackell and Keogh made more mistakes last night than they have done for the most part of the season. They wont make mistakes like that every game. So to get a defender in based on a mad 5 minutes would be puzzilng to say the least. Say a team from the lower half of the prem has phoned up Mr Morris "Hi Mel is Keogh available, we'll pay £3-4million for him" Mel could have gone to Clement and said "we have had a bid for Keogh, what do you reckon?" Clement may have said if we could get someone in better, than he would be happy to sell. Same with Christie, and the others. Who knows.
