WorksopRam
The pod ones. Anyone got one? Looking at one for Christmas but I'm torn between a Bosch Tassimo one, a Delonghi Dolce Gusto one and a Lavazza one. I'm not spending a fortune, just a bit of a novelty, so can anyone recommend any? Which kind of pods are best? Ta.
rezner
Got a Gusto and we love it.. The skinny latte is my personal favourite. But the kids love a mocha and a chocolate . The wife likes pretty much all of them.
David
Don't do it. Cheaper to just grab the sachets, don't taste any different. Took ours back to Tesco and got a refund.

Duracell
Don't listen to Daveo, the sachets don't taste different providing you don't have fully-functioning tastebuds. I'd personally go for the Deloghi ones but pods can be expensive. I know it's more of a faff to get the manual ones but if you drink a lot of coffee it's cheaper and when you get good at making the coffee you can start getting creative. Same principle behind rollies vs cigarettes.
David
Blindfold test. Bet you wouldn't tell the difference.

If you can facilitate the test I'm up for that and I'll sell my coffee machine immediately if I can't.

Best deals for those three I mentioned, just wondered if anyone had used any of them.

Boycie
I've got the tassimo. Its ok, they're all the same I think. Daveos talking out his tight ring piece as there's no way a sachet nicked from the Premier inn (which is where he got them, I can guarantee it) tastes the same. David
Lies, it's lies I tell you. Absolute waste of time and space in the kitchen.
Boycie
Well, they do take space up in a kitchen that's true.
David
What do you think is in the pods that's not in a sachet? It's a con, I fell for it as well but was man enough to say you got me and had my money back. I will admit they don't taste exactly the same, Cappuchino sachets taste much better than the pods
Boycie
Ground coffee in the pods. soluble coffee in sachets. was that a real question? well, tis in a bosch? Assume they are all ground coffee that the water perculates through, no?
Rev
We had the Dolce Gusto one, you have to guess the correct amount of water per capsule, as it's not automatic. Never gets really hot either. We've now got a little tassimo one, much easier to use, piping hot and no need to guess how much water to use. Seen the machine for £33 quid too, in Sainsbury's I think. Pod cost is roughly the same across both machines.
RIMBAUD
We've got a tassimo - Mrs Rimbaud thinks it's great. (prefer tea myself - and beer)

Regular coffee just get the Azera coffee. We've got a hot water dispenser so it's pretty much the same thing.
Gritstone Ram
I've got a Bosch Tassimo one. Don't use it all that often. I think the drinks are a bit cold from it. On the other hand the missus likes it.
