Philmycock Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 After match around 7pm, our 8 were minding our own business when around 20 Peterborough meat-heads steamed into us just because we were Derby fans.Their leader and biggest ape-like Neanderthal, however, found himself unceremoniously despatched to the floor, dazed and embarrassed, which in the circumstances was quite amusing, what wasn't so funny was our 2 that got arrested whilst the Posh brigade were merely ushered on to the train by the police whilst we were held back and had to get on the next one.So thanks for that Yorkshire Police, thanks for not taking care of decent law-abiding football supporters and pooing yourself at the sight of the ape men of Peterborough as they ran away with their heads spinning and their morale dented by normal non-hooligan fans. Case closed.the problem with cctv footage is that the police can edit it.By edit, I mean decide where the footage starts and finishes. The Posh fans could throw the first 10 punches, but the police start their evidence just before the Derby fan throws one back, making it look like the Derby fan is the aggressor.The police have a tactic of not revealing all the evidence until the morning of the case, which they shouldn't, therefore not allowing the defence time to react, by the time the defence can review the evidence, the verdict has been given, and there is no more money they can make from the defendant. Alan Ramage 4 EVA Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 I was there and asked a copper why they had let the posh fans go was it just the easiest way ,he replied they would follow it up with cctv Oh yeah,same sh--it just tell folk what they want to hearThe same lot had been followed all day by police all day SO they knew it was coming.Prior to it kicking off I was talking to two of them and had no trouble ,don`t know what started it ?
