RamNut
Must admit that for a spell,Chandler was the most exciting Derby winger I'd seen.
ramblur
Yes but i preferred rioch, and his thunderous tackles which left bits of human debris all over the pitch.

ramblur
I liked jeff too. Got slaughtered by arthur for scoring a hat-trick and was never quite the same again.
ramblur
When he left and went to everton, he got a lot of stick for being dirty and he made a conscious effort to change his game....And he was craap after that.
RamNut
Bet the death rate fell though. You've surprised me there,I'd have thought the dockers would have loved him.Are you sure he wasn't just craap because he was getting on? He might have been too slow to be late Bet we could both pick other sides that would give our first elevens a hell of a game.

ramblur
I remember him being interviewed about it. He was 29 when we sold him.but his game needed that edge and aggression. His fierce shot was another bi-product of that fire in his belly.I was amazed to later discover that the doc had bought him for aston villa because they did not seem to get on too well. Kinky didn't play well there, but otherwise he just had to be in the team.

Bridgford Ram
Since 1983 for me, although we were awful then. My first favourite player was Jeff Chandler but we have had better since. My team therefore is; Shilton Wright McGrath StimacEranio Powell Carsley Thorne Asanovic Saunders Wanchope I am sure I have missed out some great players, including Ted McMinn who is my favourite ever Ram but he just doesn't fit in a 3-5-2. I am tempted to bring Delap or Laursen in at RWB and move Eranio into midfield to replace Carsley.
