i-Ram
It seems to me that coach and train travel may be difficult tomorrow. I have an engine problem with my car, my bicycle has a slow puncture of the front wheel (and this would only get me to Reigate at best). My horse died a few weeks ago and there are 118 locks to get my barge through. I cannot fly because of fear brought on by recent events, and (this is the real bummer) my wife sold both my pogo stick and space hopper at a WI event last weekend. Silly cow.Can anybody suggest how I might be able to get to the match as I have really got a good "Sack the Board" song to sing. Rev
Walk. Walk! Are you mad. Poor people walk. American Ram's suggestion of hitchhiking would be a good idea if I hadn't lost both my thumbs in a nasty Lathe related incident a few years back. Insensitive *******! Tombo
Build a Snowman and wait for him to come alive and fly you there hand in hand. We've all talked a lot about the idyllic "White Christmas", but I think a White Easter would be even more magical. You might even learn to sing on the way to the game. Carl Sagan
The current world record for teleportation is up to 143 km, surely more than enough to make it to the Road to Wigan Pier: http://www.esa.int/Our_Activities/Space_Engineering_Technology/ESA_observatory_breaks_world_quantum_teleportation_recordSadly, if you don't like flying (even on a beam of light) then the record for teleporting using an optical fibre is only 25 km (http://sputniknews.com/world/20140922/193180814.html) so you might have to string a couple of those together.Bon Voyage! Rev
How dare you RevDev. For a start my wife has a vibrator like a Kangohammer and it was me who built the Brighton Eye (although the ungrateful ******** changed the name from the Brighton i).I do not have a valet, indeed any paid servants. I have kids who fulfil all necessary housework needs, for very little cost.
