davenportram
Obviously there is the fact that the money from promotion and even 1 season in the Prem could help them establish themselves in the championship (I doubt they could stay up) Can anyone think of another reason it would be good. Mostyn6
I'd still fancy them to get more than 11 pts so no.
RamNut
Can anyone stay up. Bournemouth? Derby? Boro? Ipswich?
RicME85
If they go up they might have to spend a load of money on the ground. At the start of the game the Sky comms said that Premier League reps were at the ground to assess it in case they went up
AndyinLiverpool
go up at our expense?
notts_ram
I can't think of one good reason for Brentford to go up never mind another one
Tombo
They've risen up the leagues in spectacular fashion and it's all down to their scouting and recruitment setup and forward thinking chairman. I like them anyway.
-JW-
They've dominated boro but are losing
Tombo
8th penalty for Boro? Talk about conspiracy eh?
DcFc Dyycheee
stupid errors.. both by the lad Dean and then the keeper. Why is he going to ground there? Stay on your feet! Jota looks a real tidy player, though. Best player on the pitch.
Tombo
Brentford are an impressive side but Boro are Boro. They just find a way in games like this.
robglosta
Grubby wins, and they start from solid defending.
Ambitious
8 penalties is huge. I think we need to start offering more money out for decisions
Ambitious
In all seriousness, I think we should get Raul Albentosa to have a word with Jota. He's a classy player.
Ambitious
Good game, this... Brentford have a few quality players dotted around a hard-working team. I've never seen Pritchard play this well, he's been class! Jota, obviously. Bamford has been superb, though. He allows Boro to have a very good counter attack. He hasn't lost the ball too much, either. He's definitely stepped up from the player we saw last season.

They soak up pressure well and counter very effectively.
Ambitious
Gutted for Brentford, they were great today. Middlesbrough proving they can grind out wins, though. This weekend, so far, proves just how difficult the run in is actually going to be.

He said when he signed that he spoke to Jota as a friend and asked him what the Championship and what Derby are like and he told him that the Championship is a good place to play the game.
