Remember it well, i went to the home leg. too young to go to the away leg thank god.

I wanted to go but my brother in law didn't let me - I was too young. Didn't a BBC van get turned upside down and the Millwall fans went on a rampage in east London?

I remember at the home game and some toothless Millwall BELL END coming across to the Ossie End and offering us out.

He was that old I reckon he was Noah's grandad. Made us laugh, bloody idiot.

How they didn't get a serious ban imposed on them for their actions in the second leg is beyond me too.

And then we went to Wembley out performed our opponents and lost....... Hang on a minute.......

I hate Wembley, been 3 times, Cremonese, Leicester & QPR, and guess what I didn't go against WBA!! sorry folks I promise never to go again for all our sakes. :-)

Remember sitting on the coach with the curtains drawn to make us less of a target for the bricks they were chucking.

I was there as a teenager ... absolutely frightening. They were setting fires, turning over the Radio Derby car, throwing bricks at us ... it was a nightmare.

Have never been back to Millwall since. That night was by far the best performance of Cox/Roy Mac's million pound men though...seemed that they had really come of age.

Was at the game - Radio Derby Car smashed and turned upside down.

Pat Van Den Houwe backpass/ own goal was replayed over and over again down on the TVs at half time under the stands!!!!

I remember arriving on the bus as the players were getting off the team coach at Millwall and an "old dear" spat at John Harkes as he got off.

It was definitely a memorable game, if not necessarily for the right reasons.

The fact that they held us back for 15 minutes after the match so the Millwall "fans" could adopt their best position of attack, wasn't the best advised way forward!

Yep was at the game - - we could have won 5 or 6 but we stopped trying early on - and even told the ref not to send off one of their players (Keller) to avoid a riot! We drove there (was living in London at the time)  - as didn't fancy the local stations - they seemed like a perfect place for a kicking....especially after MM had tried to rile their fans up in the press before the game.

After the game we waited for about 30 mins then around 500 of us were escorted (mounted police)  back to the carparks...
