Personally i think that is unlikely. Why would christie sign for us if he was going to be a reserve? He is highly rated and had numerous options apparently. McClaren needs to coach him and Christie himself needs to work on his game. Where going for automatic promotion and need to hit the ground running. Just IMO of course.
