Hoping Arsenal win the FA Cup makes me feel vile. Yeah I'll take my money if I win and walk away. If I lose it wouldn't feel so bad I guess, Arsenal not winning the trophy.

Mate, again good luck. I hope the Arse win for you so you can get out.

I hope you feel bad about needing the enemy's help. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. If you do not walk away from gambling now, it will only be the beginning of the damage it will do to your soul (not in a religious sense).

I hope you've already started talking to someone about the strategies you need to turn away from gambling.

Good luck; I will be supporting Arsenal in the Cup with you firmly in mind.

Thanks a lot mate. :$ Yeah needing the enemy to win shows how bad my situation is. I had to go for what I thought was the safest bet with an enormous stake. Appreciate it x

Luckily there is not much football at all now till the world cup so when you do win, do not do anything stupid with it. There's no way you will be able to just stop gambling, just bet sensible amounts, £10 a week won't hurt.

See a specialist mate. I'm fully serious about this. Look at the money you've staked, you won't just be able to stop, even if you think you will. After a day you'll see a bet you fancy, and you'll lose.. You'll feel the urge to win it back and that will lose as well. It's a continuous cycle pal.

I used to gamble big stakes, not quite as much as you but it was hundreds a week. I've since stopped, I only stake small bets now. It's much more enjoyable, trust me. You have nothing to lose - it won't make you rich - but it's much more viable when you really have something to lose.

Don't let it happen mate. Addictions can be cruel and it can ruin your life. I hope for your sake Arsenal win (I will be rooting for you pal).

Just wondering, if Arsenal do win, what will be your net loss/profit?

I'm confident I can walk away, probably easier said than done. I hate it, chasing losses is not a nice experience. I've lost £1900 from last 4 bets. Put down £2700 on my latest bet. 1900 + 2700 = £4600. My returns for winning is something over £5,000. I'll make a profit if I win.
