Our club is run by suits for the benefit of suits.

They regard the ordinary fan as a pleb who - if not redirected to the cheap seats - will get too close to the corporate elite.

They want executives who will pay more for the whole corporate match day experience.

Exclusive seating areas, exclusive bar areas, platinum this and diamond that.

They feed off our history with their mcfarland bars and their dave mackay lounges.

Access is by membership only. A meal at half time with complimentary drinks whilst the herd queue for a piss and a pie.

They want the executives in their luxury boxes paying thousands a year for the privilege and their reserved parking.

They want the corporates who sponsor the players, the kit, the substitutions, the ball, the match, the stands.

They milk them for income whilst stroking their egos, and reinforcing their sense of superiority and self worth.

This is football for the elite.

The ordinary fan is just there for atmosphere - to decorate the stands and wave their scarves when instructed.

You sing your songs and bounce for their entertainment.

They control you like puppet masters and you dance to their tune.

I was treated to a go in the west stand once, where we got the tour, and a meal, but we had to buy our own drinks, and Tom Glick was hovering (no he wasn't doing the hoovering!....I wish he was, that would have made my day) he was just hovering, and wandering around. I can remember smiling at him, on route to the gents, and he just looked at me like a pleb. I was dressed accordingly for the occasion, but he clearly didn't see loads of money, glittering off my attire.

I'm glad we started the day off in The Neptune, and I'm glad we beat Brum that day 2-1 and I'm glad I stood in the exclusive queue collecting mine and my mates winnings from predicting the score correctly that day, and I'm glad I listened to Roger Davies enjoying himself, I'm glad I listened to our captain Barker speaking after the game, I'm glad I stood at the bar next to that ex forest flag waver all dressed up in a bad tracksuit watching him struggle to pay for his fresh orange juice, and I'm glad we had a great day and a great weekend  in Derby and I'm glad of that.

I'm also glad Tom Glick left. I wonder if he's doing the hoovering at Man City, and I'm bored with Man City, I bet them Man City fans will soon get as bored as Man Utd fans are now.

I'm bored of work, think I'll go home now!

I think we are all missing the most important question of all time.

When will Mac ditch the tuft and go bald eagle on us?

I don't think he will.

Tufters such as him steadfastly ignore the obvious fact that they are going bald. They are in denial.
