StockholmRam
Ronald Denis Pountain aka Denny Denis was from Derby. Denny took over from Sinatra as the singer with the great Tommy Dorsey big band in the 1940s. Nick named the " English Bing Crosby" The Debonaires who won the national dance band championship 6 times ( the Brits of its day) were also from Derby.
