trekkie_ram
Depends on the food, and the cleanliness of the floor, but I'm not that picky. I wouldn't suck suck spilt soup out of a carpet, but a decent bit of meat can land on any clean surface, and be good for the same amount of time that it would be if it had remained on a plate. Gritstone Ram
It does depend where you drop it too. If i dropped it on my floor at home i would have about 1 second before the missus saw it and blew her top. If i was out i'd cut my loses just incase someone had trampled dogshit all over the place.
