froggg
The tossers are going for the draw with that pitch.....still we'd do the same
AndyinLiverpool
How to kill test cricket - Prepare flat unresponsive pitches to ensure big scores and no results. Define a 'good pitch' as one where loads of runs are scored. Fill commentary and press boxes with ex-batsmen who cream themselves over such pitches. I hope you're not having a go at shy, modest, retiring Geoffrey. A model of reticence.
Phoenix
Mind you, Geoffrey could score triple centuries on a rutted field with a stick of rhubarb. .. . . . . . . . . . .. Or was that his grandmother?
RodleyRam
What is the point in a pitch like that?! I suppose from the NZ perspective from this point it's either a draw of an England loss, so you can see why they'd do it but it just makes a mockery of the whole process! dabber
NZ 227-1  Pitch flat as a pancake. Makes for boring test matches. I liked Bumble's quote "as flat as a London pint!"

Anag Ram
I hope you're not having a go at shy, modest, retiring Geoffrey. A model of reticence. To be fair, Geoffrey berated the pitch as a waste of time and attacked NZ's lack of ambition in going for a third draw. Our players have to get their chins off the floor and try some creative thinking. We took wickets in India yet seem to get narked when New Zealand don't throw their wickets away.
