Boston's-More than a feeling

We're going up now

It's more than a feeling

With Nigel Clough now

It's more than a feeling

we're flying high now

It's more than a feeling

With Crosby and Garner

It's more than a feeling

:p

Ain't it been hot today?

Anyway.

As I've said before, and Bris Toni and Side Show Bob agree, this is the best Clough song.

The Beatles classic, all your need is love

All you need is Clough, da da da da da.

All you need is Clough, da da da da da.

All you need is Clough, Clough.....Clough is all you need

It really is that simple, and by heck, it needs to be on here.

Thankyou please

Some people sit in the West Stand

Afraid to join in with the songs

Some people need to eat pies

When the edge of half time is in sight..

Don’t you worry!

Its gonna be alright

‘cause I’m always ready,

I won’t let you out of my sight.

I’ll be ready (I’ll be ready)

Never you fear (no don’t you fear)

I'll be ready

Forever and always

I’m always here.

To the tune of Yellow Submarine's chorus

Nigel Clough kicked Billy Davies's arse

Billy Davies's arse,

Billy Davies's arse,

Nigel Clough kicked Billy Davies' arse. (Repeat until boredom sets in.)

I was up all night thinking of that. ;)

All you need is Clough...Clough...Clough is all you need.

It's such an obvious but great song as it works for both Brian and Nigel...something for both the happy clappers and the haters ;)

What I would like to see next year is the absolute end of the Stevenage/Crystal Palace ultra copycat songs/chants/whatever. It's so small time it's untrue. Remember cringing when I heard Leicester sing it at Watford...you'd expect it off them, nothing club that they are.

I also cant stand 'and it's ***generic team name***, we're by far the greatest team the world has ever seen....' Small time and factually very incorrect. Unless you're a Socio at the Nou Camp.

Nigel is a big Frank Sinatra fan so why not something along the lines of "My way" because he is definitely doing it his way and no other bugger's way and that's me as a Cloughie supporter speaking.

So to the tune of "My way":

"And now the season's here

And we are lead by Saint Jake Buxton

My friends we'll sing it clear

and make our stand of which we're certain

We've played some games so dull

we've travelled up and down the motorway

and much much more than this we played it Nige's way

Regrets, we have a few

but then again we could be Portsmouth

We've won where we have played with quite a few exceptions

He's planned each game with care, left nothing out but substitutions

And much much more than this we did it Nigel's way

Yes there've been times, not all that few

Where he has bit off more than he can chew

but through it all, he had no doubt

That we would rise and sort it out

He faced it all and he stood tall and did it Nigel's way

We've won, we've drawn, we've lost

we've had our fill, we're sick of losing

And now as promotion nears we find it all so amusing

and to think Nigel did it all

and erm not in a shy way

oh no, on no not Nige, he did it his way

For what's a team, what have they got

without dear Nige, then not a lot

To say the things that we all feel

and use the words that keep it real

His record shows football that flows we did it Nigel's way

Go on then altogether now ...
