davenportram
A secret target missed on a technicality, wonder if there are any more secrets http://m.derbycounty-mad.co.uk/news/796901 Immigration problems cut short Rams interest in Fijian International striker Derby County have been given another blow in their search for a striker. Fijian International Roy Krishna was due to have an extended trial with the Rams but developments in his request for residency in Newzealand, where he now plays may scupper the move. Krishna (25) has been a prolific striker for Waitaker United last season and all agree he has now out grown the league and needs to move to a higher standard of football. The problems started with his move after he was granted residence status in Newzealand. This now means he needs to stay in the Country for more than 184 days to qualify for permanent residency. This now means he would not be available for a full season with the Rams. So the Rams miss out on the Fijian International because of technicalities

randombc
55 goals in 75 games is pretty impressive, including 19 goals in 14 games last season. Would of been worthwhile to have him over here for a trial - would of been a lot more excited if he'd of been 19 or 20 compared to 25! Don't think it will turn out to be a big loss. RamNut
A load of nonsense. If he came for a trial and was successful he wouldn't need to pursue his application for residency in new zealand.

Anyway thats not how it works is it? You can't pay for a country unless your grannies uncle was born there, can you?

England looked at several players who had nothing English about them under Sven. Carlo Cuidicini, and an Arsenal midfielder, Edu(?), where amongst those looked at.
