Stimacked
Here is a list of players so far for next seasons Academy team. 2nd Years; Jacob Spiriak (Slovak goalie) Ferrand Rawson (defender) Josh Nash (defender) James Hanson (pro deal, versatile, defender and midfielder, free kick specialist!) Ayrton Wassall. (midfielder, Wassalls son. given a pro deal along with Hanson) Mason Bennett, (First team fringe already, still only 16, another year of his scholarship to go) Kwame Thomas (Lead the attack for the Academy all season) Darryl Carrighy, forward, Irish youth player, not played much. Kurtis Revan, forward Andre Johnson, forward 2013-2014 1st years, as far as I know Jack Tuite (RB, signed from Ireland, Irish Youth player. Charles Vernam, forward, signed from Ssausagehorpe, already played for U21s. Max Lowe, left back, regular already for the Academy, England U16 player, other players recruited from the U16s squad; Callum Guy Sam Drysden Tom Rigby, (think he was U16s captain) Guy Clennett Nathan Bondswell (forward) there will probably be a couple more players added to the squad in the close season. another player to look out for is Nottingham lad; Offrande Zanzala, already scored a cracker in his first appearance for the U18s against Huddersfield. Not sure if he is one of next years scholars though.
RodleyRam
Hey Stimacked, Good info thanks, it's really interesting to see the names coming through, I know we can look at league tables, ratings etc. but you seem to know a fair bit about this, do you know how our talent coming through compares with other clubs? We hear a lot about Derby's Academy and I can well believe it's a good one but how to we compare, if it's possible to do so?
Ghost of Clough
I thought that Revan normally plays on the right wing

eddie
Did Wassall REALLY call his son Ayrton? hahahahahaha I wonder if Mr and Mrs Senna received the same criticism because they didn't call their little boy 'Pod'. Just because your parents called you 'Periwinkle', we don't all have to be named after shellfish.
