I bet you'd struggle to find a player who isn't a regular for a club outside the top 4 in their domestic league starting matches for the national team.. The only other one I can possibly think of was Kuyt being a regular for Holland but not for Liverpool.. But then again I don't think he has ever been a regular for Holland and I imagine he played more for Liverpool than Ox has for Arsenal Like when Jack Butland made his England debut before his Birmingham debut, only first team experience before was 24 games for fourth tier Cheltenham Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
