midtableforever
I would not allow Clough to sign any striker in. I'm afraid there are still a lot of useless strikers in Ireland and Scotland.
Albert
We'd boo him if he didn't succeed instantly, then use the signing as something to criticise the current management with. I guess it's a win-win for some.
WilkoRam
We'd boo him if he didn't succeed instantly, then use the signing as something to criticise the current management with. I guess it's a win-win for some. We'd sing his praises and consider him a good signing no matter how he performs and use it as a way of praising the manager and his signings. Until that manager sells him then we can claim he wasn't that good after all. Win-win
Scott129
Billy Sharp for me too and we'd have that clinical striker we've been craving.

CumbrianRam
What is so good about Billy Sharp, always baffles me he's not the only goal scoring striker out there.

Derbydave96
John gudetti or however it's spelt is a good shout, abit out of our league I think :/ I think the reason why everyone allways says billy sharp is that he is a name and someone for the fans to have on the back of the shirt etc, he's allways had a connection with derby and he sums up the sort of player the fans have been after for the last few years. I think if he came to derby the fans would be pleased and he would be our fan favourite as was Steve Howard a few years back

Ambitious
John Terry. It's about as realistic as Clough being backed in the summer.
randombc
Let's hope not this season... His goalscoring is...average at best... ask any of the Sheff Utd fans.. Ssausagehorpe - 53 goals in 82 games Sheffield United - 8 goals in 51 games Doncaster - 25 goals in 49 games Doncaster (loan) - 15 goals in 33 games Southampton - 9 goals in 17 games Forest - 10 goals in 30 games That's 260 odd games with 120 goals Equates to a goal in every 1 in 2.1ish games. I haven't got a calculator so I'm not 100% sure. Certainly got a record better then any striker we've had in recent years that could score 20 goals without being made of glass
