Is there anything to like about this club?

Currently sit bottom of the premiership but still have the cash to sign players who are wanted by other, more successful clubs. If they get relegated there wage bill will surely be about ten times more than ours.

People moan about ticket prices but its clubs like QPR and Citeh that are paying out ridiculous wages meaning clubs have to raise prices to compete.

it was 32million pound wagebill when they got promoted under Warnock - I imagine it's more around 80m mark. I hope they get relegated, and then financially feel the sting. I can't stand QPR, used to like them years ago, got new owners that outright put up the prices 10 fold, and called it a boutique club for affluent people to enjoy.

They're very much what is wrong with Football but seem to go under the radar.

Remy signs on £80kpw - surely one of the most irresponsible signings of the season?

Classic Redknapp.

Am not sure I follow.

Here is a player that the top clubs have been pursuing. Redknapp is desperately short of quality options and so he needs to bring players into the club.

So what if he's paying them a ridiculous sum.

If he keeps them up and I believe they have more than a fighting chance, Redknapp will be hailed a hero, Remy will be seen as a fantastic signing and QPR have a really solid base to build on for next season.

If not then they go down and he walks off to another club. So what. The owners can afford it. QPR are merely a toy for the rich.

I don't like what they're doing but why Redknapp is receiving negative reviews from some fans is beyond me.

He has done an absolutely tremendous job since coming to the club. They've lost only one game under is tenure.

He's a incredible man manager.

But redknapp don't put the budget together, he is given a pot if money and will spend that how he sees fit.

People call him, yet hail our manager for working within a budget and achieving kpis, yet when Harry does it, it's irresponsible?

You talk of a solid base for next season but that hinges entirely on whether they survive. I don't think they will, but that's a matter of opinion I guess.

Unfortunately Redknapp's reputation of wrecking clubs by buying players for massive sums on massive salaries and leaving them in the lurch goes before him. I'm surprised you don't understand why people are sceptical again.

Cisse, Faurlin, Green, and Cesar will all have been seen as good signings but they're still bottom of the league. Surely they need someone with experience of being in this situation.

If he keeps QPR up his transfer business will be vindicated but if Remy is the superb signing you think people will perceive him to be and they're relegated, then he will have failed.

How are QPR desperately short of quality options?

I'm sure Reading would love to have a goalkeeper who is a Brazilian international. I'm sure Aston Villa would love to have a defender who has won the Champions League. I'm sure Wigan would love to have a midfielder who has won four Premier League titles. I'm sure Southampton would love to have a player technically proficient enough to remain at Real Madrid for sixteen years.

In most people's eyes, QPR have enough quality to be a mid-table side in the Premier League. But most people realised that it would take time for them to see the benefit of Mark Hughes' huge overhaul of the squad.

But even then, I don't think people expected them to struggle as badly as they have done. Redknapp simply needs to get more out of an underachieving group of players more than any lavish spending. 10 points from 9 games is a start but even with that marked improvement, they are still 5 points from safety. Hardly tremendous.

At the end of the day, if Remy comes in, pulls a Papiss Cisse and they stay up, he'll be worth every penny. If M'Vila comes in and galvanises their midfield, he'll be considered much the same. But what if they both struggle to adapt to the Premier League? It wouldn't be the first time high-profile foreign players with international pedigree have struggled here.

Spending £15m on two players and adding a reported £150,000 a week to an already sizeable wage bill potentially adds to the problem that Redknapp was publicly complaining about not too long ago. Underperforming players on premium wages.

It's easy to say those players will move on if they are relegated but that's not always the case and it's easier said than done.

Good luck to them but it's obvious they are taking a gamble with their financial future.

They are desperately short of quality because Mark Hughes bought so badly. The only really quality I see in their squad is the keeper Cesar.

And yes, I maintain that Redknapp has done a great job thus far. He's taken a group of players that were dead and buried and made them hard to beat.

10 points from 9 games doesn't sound that great but let's consider they've played Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham in that period.

He's made a difference. That's why they brought him in. He's given them a belief. Granted, they have a huge wage bill but that is not down to Redknapp. If Hughes had actually brought in quality then they wouldn't be where they are.

So what's Redknapp supposed to do. Take the same bunch of cr*p that he inherited and steer them to safety?! No, he's bringing in quality to give them a chance.

Redknapps main beef wasn't underperforming players being paid too much. It was underperforming players who are not good enough to be paid such a high wage in the first place. There's a difference.

And why is he gambling with their financial future? If they go down then apparently these signings have a release clause so they'll no longer be paying their wages. The same cannot be said for Robert Green, Boswingwa, Zamora and all the other players that Hughes gave million dollar contracts to.

Apparently theres a clause in Remy's contract saying if they get relegated he can leave for free 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> such a waste of money

QPR are down, order the Championship badges for the sleeves now.

5pts behind avoiding the drop specialists Wigan

7pts behind Newcastle and Southampton

More chance of Rosey playing in goal for England than QPR staying up

Taarabt? Wanted by PSG and United at one point.

Granero? Signed from one of the best sides in the world, played alongside Ozil, Khedira, Kaka for numerous years..

Fabio? Won a Premier League medal and Fergie deems him a future first teamer

Mbia? Won Ligue 1 with Marseille

Park? Worshipped in Korea and played a key role over the years for United

Bosingwa? Won a Champions league medal alittle under a year ago, won countless titles at Porto and a PL medal...

Those players would walk into any club like Swansea or Swansea if given the right man management.

Hughes and Redknapp have proved nothing in there managerial time, just spent a shedload of cash at every club they've been and get them in the red.

Is it a coincidence Pompey are close to going tits up and Southampton when on a downward spiral once Redknapp left?

Is it a coincidence Man City are now abit less reluctant to splash the cash when Hughes signed garbage like Robinho for over 32 million?

QPR deserve to go down after hiring these two bufoons.
