Alph
He didn't have an 'infinite pot of cash' to buy Savies. He's had to work under tight constraints. Fook me, he couldn't manage a good ****.

Pearl Ram
Agreed Andy, we're usually good for struggling teams to get back on track. I would have settled for 3 points at home to Blackburn and a point each at Ipswich and Peterborough. I reckon one of them will do us...hope it's not Ipswich. RamNut
Paul jewell is a very good manager who has been very unlucky. He was unlucky to lose oakley and howard at derby. Hardly his fault that robbie savage was past it. Unlucky that dickinson, zadkovich and pereplotkins never quite fulfilled their huge potential. (Imagine if those three had done the business where we might be now) He was unlucky that danny mills and laurent robert couldn't save our season. Unlucky that his bit on the side flogged his home made to the papers. Unlucky that nathan ellington couldn't be arrsed at wigan, derby and ipswich. It looks like the bad luck continues to haunt him everywhere he goes, poor bloke.

CornwallRam
Jewell would be foolish to resign. It will be his last job as a manager if he fails again. He might as well hang in there until he either gets the boot or turns it around - he's got nothing to lose.
