Curtains
Both players were brilliant as pair yesterday just as they were against Wolves. They never seem to panic and find each other with relative ease. Oconner reads the game so well and knows how to snuff out attacks from th opposition very quickly long may it continue. Mr Tibbs
I've been impressed too. Can't imagine O'connor cost more than a couple of hundred grand either so it looks a coup so far. I don't think O'connor was very comfortable on the left towards the end mind, his mistake led to the goal there.
Purpleram
I agree, we still need a reliable leaft back for when Roberts is out, Freeman presumably will be that man?
May Contain Nuts
I really hope we stick with this pairing at the back - I simply don't rate what I've seen as Keogh/Buxton as a partnership regardless of what they bring to the team individually, whereas Keogh/O'Connor just seems to be the right mix. Purpleram
Does anyone else think O'Conner is on the short side for a centre half? Not been caught out yet mind.

Probably looks it stood next to Keogh! I'm not sure it matters, he struggled abit against Iwelumo but so did Keogh in parts. They won't come up against giants like him every week. O'connor was very good in the air last week so i'm not too fussed about the lack of height. OB is a similar story, he's even smaller but still wins his fair share of headers. ChaddesdenRam
I think Oconner has been excellent. Played very well up against Bolton, where he was dealing with the height of Kevin Davies and the speed of sordell. I still think we should have at least got a draw. Sammon could have had a penalty and brayfords goal should not have been disallowed.
derbyram1994
I though o connor was outstanding yesterday, his composure on the ball was brilliant, he never panicked and he played the simple but effective balls from the back which allowed us to play nice football while starting our attacks. Hucknall Ram
Really Harsh on Buxton, he deserves a chance but Keogh and O'Connor look a really good pairing
Rampant Rob
I agree, we still need a reliable leaft back for when Roberts is out, Freeman presumably will be that man? I thought Freeman was a right back? Might be wrong. Hoganson I know is a LB.

jg96ram
Does anyone else think O'Conner is on the short side for a centre half? Not been caught out yet mind. Remember Bucko's only 5ft 10. O'Connor looks to be very steady, I think he could really displace Buxton IMO.
RIMBAUD
i reckon you play the best pairing - and for me it's oconnor and keogh
Ash
After 10mins yesterday I turned to my mate and said you can already tell O'Connors a better player than Buxton. Far more cultured and seems quicker off the mark. Good buy from Clough especially given his versatility.

Alph
Buxton shouldn't of got ill! You can't drop O'Connor now. I really like O'Connor and Keogh. They seem to be able to play football. I'm fed up of having decent ball players in the midfield standing there looking for the ball in the clouds. Shackell and OB used to really wind me up. Asanovic
Overall, our choices at CB are stronger this year than last. Alot stronger. In my opinion.
Ash
I've still got high hopes for OB, as far as 'head it and kick it' defenders go, he's not bad.
