I wonder if he is still training with us? part of me would like to give him a new contract if we could, but then again it is foward enforcements which need so much more.

Sturridge and Carroll are the two that stand out. Sturridge would be my first pick.

I think he will have a big role to play this season, both as a option of the bench and games to give the likes of Lawrence and Jozwiak a night off at times to keep them fresh.

That is a relief. I stand corrected on that sorry. I was thinking there was no way he was going play Friday if was still on international duty.

With both Joz and Morrison on international duty and doubtful for Friday night it really does make our available sqaud look thin.

So with Jozwiak unlikely to feature and Ravel Morrison even less likely to be available then I believe we are being severely compromised by this Friday night kick off.

I'd love it if we could get Daniel Sturridge, I think he could be a difference maker for us. Other than that I would be tempted to invite a couple of free agents (fowards)% to train with us if we had any hope of getting out of this embargo.

It's hard to tell which ones would accept the wages we could offer, however a wide man or another centre foward would be the priority for me.

I think if we was to do that we would do it in January. I'd like to keep Jagielka and Baldock for the rest of the season.
