Once the Government permits 60% capacity, that'll sort us out to allow every fan who wants to go....to go.

Obviously i was a bit tongue in cheek but i do think our crowds will be down anyway, there will be those that the gap in attending has made them lose a little interest, and generally our crowds were going down anyway, and after last years awful season, and the uncertainty that surrounds us i think some just wont fancy it.

I can see even if we could open fully us having our lowest crowds for at least a decade.

I don’t see it as “forgetting our debt”.

We can be incredibly grateful for them exposing themselves to a far greater risk than the rest of us more fortunate ones but that shouldn’t exempt anyone from having to take precautions to help protect the vulnerable people they have to come into contact.

Agree, there is already a requirement of employers to ensure their staff have the Flu jab working in that sector, its no different really.

    So anyway... About Friday...

Anyone know the best (simplest!) way of watching the big game... on a mobile... in the Carneddau Range (northern sector) of Snowdonia National Park... on a campsite with no wifi... potentially in a thunderstorm?

Sometimes, my own stupidity astounds me!

By no wifi do you mean no 4g either?

From the Beeb 5 days ago (have left the last sentence in but I don't see where their logic for the final statement comes from, as even more people get vaccinated).

"There are just under 1,000 people with coronavirus in hospitals in the UK, up about 5% from a low point a week ago.

That's far below the peak of nearly 40,000 people in January. And NHS Providers say the people who are going in aren't as seriously ill as they were in early waves. They are younger, or don't require intensive care as much - and they're coming out sooner.

That means this wave is different, and better, than previous ones but eventually rising admissions will mount up."

I have been reading some detail that the cases could hit 100k a day and that the numbers are doubling every 9 days but the graphs im looking at dont seem to suggest that.

We were hitting 6k a day 9 days ago and now its around 7-8k. My maths might not be great but 6*2 isnt 7.5.

  5. Difficult to gauge how people feel, i was all for opening but happy to wait if it means there will be less likely a chance of re-instating restrictions.

All my work colleagues I have spoken to today seem to feel the same, that we have waited this long, we may as well wait another 4 weeks.

How much longer we are happy to wait of course remains to be seen should there be a further extension in 4 weeks.

Although I’m not deaf I stand by this view 100% he amount of times this has happened to me at a bar, I’d love a pair of boobs just for getting severed quicker ?

The best thing that has come out of all this is the car parking apps, no longer do I have to worry about having some change in my car.

    sounds nasty

Yeah we should want to beat everyone shouldn’t we but I’d prefer it as easy as possible just for the nerves. Anyway more than anything we need to beat Scotland (just because!!!)

Yeah important to beat them. Then its in our hands whatever we decide to do in the last game.

France will probably win the other group, be nice to put the Germans out in round 2 though. I reckon we would beat Germany or Portugal now.

Do we want to win the group though, look who we could play ?

Its a tough one isnt it, is a bit all over the place for the second round, some group winners play best 3rd place, in our group win or come second we play runners up which is a bit odd, normally if you finish second you would expect to be up against the winner of a group.

Guess its to make it work for the extra round we are getting this time.

I suppose if you plan on winning it you should be confident of beating anyone anyway, but if we beat scotland friday and have a top two spot secured, knowing you could then lose the last game and finish 2nd you would be tempted to field your weakest team.

Be interesting to see if they put the same pressures on the public to have flu jabs too going forward ( they been pushing them big style for a while and in kids too) after all flu kills 40k in a bad year

Certainly more people were offered the flu jab last winter.  All over 50s and anyone living with vulnerable people. That sort of approach will probably be the way forward with covid jabs in years to come.

Sainsburys yesterday some moronic person had swapped the hoses over on the pump. As I put 50litres in it would have been a costly fill up if I hadn't noticed.

Thing is I can't even imagine that being an accident,  someone must have done deliberately.

    Scumbags if that's the case.

Didn’t bother the EFL too much where the money is coming from at a club that plays in red not too far from Derby

Or the fact he was under investigation for match fixing. Ok hes been found not guilty but surely should have been told he would have to wait until the charge was dropped or he was found not guilty.

Being famous meaning you can suddenly claim expert knowledge and get smoke blown up your backside for things you know nothing about.

Meghan writing a children's book (Sarah Ferguson did the same)...so she is now claiming to be an author. Likewise, any fat celebrity who has lost weight (using a personal trainer and chef) who then sets themselves as some fitness expert with videos and diet plans.

Being a celeb gives you special status no doubt.

Might sound harsh but when a celebrity suffers a loss of a loved one, a big thing is made of it, often followed up by selling their story. Of course i dont intend to belittle their loss but we all go through personal tragedies and loss of loved ones, often with barely a couple of days off work to get over it.

Its almost like being a celebrity means their loss is greater than the rest of us.
