Maybe his scouting system is stuck in 2017 and it showing all these players ages as 25

I'm intrigued to know how many of the signings made by Rosenior would have come last summer if Warne arrived earlier. I can remember in one of the We are Derby videos he claimed 'I've tried to sign most of you at Rotherham'. I really doubt any of them would be here maybe Wildsmith at a push?

If we were looking for a RB who can play across a back 4 wouldn't either Ryan Nyambe or Steven Sessegnon be better options?
Both currently out of contract, both right side of 30 and both realistic signings for L1.
I totally get the need for having experience through the squad but we should also be looking long term. With this current model we'll be rebuilding the squad every two years with very little or no resale value to show for it.
    Bonkers.

I explained it better in one of the (many) other posts - basically, I think he's a good crosser when he's got space and time to cross, but he struggles to create that space for himself, because he hasn't really got a burst of pace or a trick to get clear of a fullback.  So a huge number of his crosses end up getting blocked by the first man.  And playing at wingback makes that worse, as he has no support to draw defenders away, he's often doubled-up by their winger and fullback.

I feel much of the anger and frustration has been bottled up from the back end of last season and because of the poor start, many supporters have released their emotions on the manager, I don't blame them to be honest.
It is difficult for supporters to get behind a team who aren't playing well and the football being presented is horrid. This is why the likes of Pulis, Bruce, Allardyce etc. receive really poor reactions from fans when their teams start losing games. The pretty on the eye managers tend to get more time because at least they're trying to entertain even if the results don't match the performance. I think we are all baffled as to why Warne is known for playing high intensity football yet 2 of his 3 centre backs cannot run and play a high line, hence there's questions on recruitment and manager tactics.
Built up anger has finally exploded unfortunately.

We need footballing continuity but that shouldn't rest solely on the manager as it seems to be under Paul Warne. When Clowes saved the club I thought as although he's devout fan he's a total novice when comes to running a football club (do not take it as dig at him) and it would be sensible to recruit Chief exec/General Manager first before recruiting a Head Coach. Follow a similar modern method to Brentford/Brighton even Luton where they set the stall of a philosophy/style of play from under 16's to all the way to the seniors and signing of players and your just letting the Head Coach... coach and if that coach isn't doing well find another who matches the system. That's how the aforementioned teams have managed to press on even though their influential managers might have gone.
It's just seems weird and disjointed to me at least how you recruit a Head of Recruitment after the Manager only to let Paul Warne have total free reign over the signings over this summer who have no real re-sale value to them. If you look at Mark Thomas at Oxford it seems there was a focus to claim lads who just were let go from big clubs who over maybe after 1-2 seasons you could sell them on.
Also i'm intrigued meaning as we should be and are determined to keep the Youth cat 1 are we going to change the philosophy of the playing style of the youth to match the 1st team. Over the years the Under 18s/21s have played 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 with a real focus of steady possession build up play and that's resulted in us having so many youth players doing well in the 1st team. You would expect that in 2/3 years time the youth talent should have recovered from the decimation of admin but it would be all for nothing if a youth player is talented for the 1st team and they can't fit in because the system or their role they are asked is so alien to them. Both Bird and Cashin are early examples of this.
It's still early days this season but it not only looks disjointed on the pitch but also off it.
