Would never support another club. Would either watch the reincarnation of the Rams or dip in and out of local clubs like Mickleover Sports and Matlock Town that I have an affinity with.
Might pop to the odd local game with my mate who follows a couple of clubs.
I would cancel Sky Sports during the football season as have no interest in other Prem or FL clubs

I guess I would have to start watching Mickleover, but I don't know if I could be arsed, even though it's only a 15 minute walk to the ground.
I've already pretty much stopped watching any football that doesn't have some impact on / link to Derby so I expect there's every chance I could stop watching it altogether.

I always think of Notts County as my 2nd team - both my Dad and Father in Law played for their reserves, so I'd probably follow them a bit more closely and make a couple of trips to Meadow Lane.
I assume though, that we wouldn't have long to wait before we had a Derby County phoenix club to follow...and then I'd become obsessed with AFC Derby County.

It wouldn't surprise me if we'd done some kind of gardening-leave type thing, so instead of paying him a lump sum in compensation, we're still paying some fraction of his wages until he gets another job.  So maybe if he doesn't get another job for the next 4 years, we might in theory end up paying him £8m, which fits with Morris quote's about it being a worst case scenario.
Likewise, the £20m HMRC bill is presumably deferred PAYE/NIC etc, so it will have to be paid, but they're not going to be demanding it all tomorrow. Many clubs, and many other businesses in general, will have used this scheme, and if HMRC start demanding massive payments upfront, they're just going to cause mass bankruptcies, so they will probably take a sensible approach.
The Dell loan also presumably has a payment schedule attached. They won't be demanding £15m tomorrow.
The entire article seems to be taking the worst case scenarios, and the total payable over many years, and assuming we owe it all tomorrow.

I've seen that phrase used a few times recently on here.
Tabloid scum like the Mail exist because people trot out that phrase.
If you were accused of a crime you didn't commit, would you want to be judged by someone who believed there is never smoke without fire?

It fairly simple - an owner trying to please 30,000 supporters with what they demanded (ambition) and once that isn’t going so well a major virus comes along and totally kills football income to a low percentage.
one thing is for sure - there are going to be an awful lot of unemployed footballers this summer or ones appearing to be putting little effort in because they are now being paid 25-50% less than they were previously (obviously talking about the championship here)

How well roony done in such space of time with little resources I know we got few loans but does not mean some of them wont be permeant signings I would not mind rangers defender stopping lee Gregory and hopeful Richard's will be given a new contract.
That some of holes filled already but dont forget roony got used to winning things man utd. And to me he is trying to do what sir Alex fergerson did at man utd. And to me this has rubbed on Roony and already proved if players dont want to be here or train hard enough they can leave the club.

Wayne has already said "Its going to be a big summer for the club & me". One of the interviews with Owen I think it was. Make of that what you will.
Personally I hope Mel is encouraged by what he has seen and has the finances, the will & of course the health to have a serious crack next season with Wayne.

I actually don't think we're as far away as some of you might think.
Rooney has shown a lot of promise so far, he has managed to get a group of average individuals who looked clueless and lethargic into a genuine team that fights for 90 minutes every single game. He has a great footballing brain, he seems tactically astute and has the staff around him to get even better.
Rooney has turned this club around in a matter of weeks and has instilled a winning mentality into the group. On paper, we have a mid table team at the minute. But look at the results and manner of performances since Rooney took charge. The unity is there, the grit is there, the work ethic is there. The only thing lacking is just a bit of quality.
Sort the mess out off the pitch, get contracts sorted out, give him better players to add to this group and I honestly believe we will challenge next season.

Based on his performances last season. Yeah. Minimum. Hat trick, 25 yard screamers. What a start to his career. Sibley will have been well known by all the top clubs as he’s destroyed all of there academy sides at youth level.
Now, no-one really knows what is a suitable fee as the market is dead. With his lacklustre year so far, it’d be the worst possible time to sell him - typical Derby.  We must keep him, he’s the best since Hughes, and due to his attacking output, could be much more valuable.
