  1. Nicely taken goal but my favourite part of that is the bloke who pops out of the toilets to see what all the fuss is about 😂
  2. Ward and Sibley were very good today. Adams is great. Cashin good as ever. Port Vale were awful. A win was essential. 🐏🐏🐏
  3. Are you suggesting that the great bastions of morality are attempting to deny the taxpayers of Nottingham proper recompense for playing at the Council Ground? How shocking.
  4. Sky TV is f****** s***. Those who go to the games are meaningless. No one cares. Football without the fans is nothing my arse. Football sold its soul and those of us who go pay the price.
  5. We need 5 at the back, a sweeper and 3 defensive midfielders for this one. Port Vale are a really good team and have athletes all over the park and good players at this level. 3 months ago they passed the ball through midfield so we’ll need to avoid that area at all costs. Make it into a battle and get it wide and whip it in for the big man up front. Keep this tight and hope to nick one late on then add another defender. It’s a tough game and they’ll have some fans there so we are probably the underdogs and must approach the game with caution. COYR - #Believe
  6. Making love to a beautiful woman is very much like a Paul Warne managed Derby County. It begins hard but then you get on top until inevitably there’s a slide downwards which leads to some disappointment and a limp finish.
  7. Apparently their top winger was CBT and from what I have seen there, I think I could comfortably have played left back last night. Let’s face it, who was clamouring for our best centre back and only asset played at left back so Bradley could lumber around again. I won’t speak for the rest of you but it wasn’t me!
  8. That was utter garbage yet again. It’s totally unwatchable at the moment and it stems from the ludicrous tactics, presuming we have any. The price of mine and the lad’s season tickets has gone up by 40% and with nights like this, following many more like them, you do begin to wonder if it’s worthwhile. If Mendez-Laing doesn’t create anything then that’s pretty much that isn’t it. I thought Cashin and Nyambe came out with credit tonight but the rest were ‘meh’ at best and a few were pretty disgraceful. The amount of 50/50 challenges bottled was quite noticeable. This team is neither good enough for the top two, nor does it have the bottle for the fight of the play offs. I hope I’m wrong, I really do. The manager has come out and said we haven’t played well all season. I agree with him so who is to blame for that then? What a disappointing week and with Port Vale, who we will no doubt be told are an excellent team with great players for this league, to come it could get even worse if we approach the game with this ridiculous negative and defensive mindset from the start. COYR 🐏
  9. I prefer it when we win to be honest. I thought we were too negative and Collins being absent is clearly a big blow. Luckily the sun was in my eyes for half the game - burning my retinas out might be an option if I have to watch much more of that. When’s Charlton’s answer to Calvin Plummer going to turn up by the way - did Warne say? Anyway, onwards and upwards, all to play for. COYR. 🐏
  10. Thatcher took them shortly after snatching milk from their mouths of bairns.
  11. The jump from 12-13 is huge. Pretty much doubles in cost. Factor in matches lost for various unavoidable reasons and looks quite expensive. Still, watching grown men pretending they have a head injury and goalkeepers collapsing to the ground after they have caught a ball is pretty priceless isn’t it and we’ll be there for more of the same.
  12. Except Middlesbrough obviously! All their losses, moving funds about and writing off debts is absolutely sustainable because Steve Gibson says so. The rest, yes, but not them. The only thing that has prevented them reaching the riches of the promised land is nasty Derby County buying Martin Waghorn! If it wasn’t for that…doesn’t bear thinking about does it. They could be champions of Europe, just like Leeds.
  13. I think the EFL will consider this carefully and think about whether a similar size club, such as Morecambe, could reasonably afford his wages and base their decision on that.
  14. He is exactly what we have needed for a considerable length of time. Interviews very well too. What a guy. The impact his presence is having on Bird is also very noticeable. As a team they stood up yesterday and I think Stevenage were a little surprised by how strong we were. Long may it continue. Ebooooooooooo
  15. Just to clarify then, is a back heel pass a pass done with the back of the heel? This soccer ball is so confusing.
  16. It was a pretty turgid watch to be honest. Second half was better though. Fantastic goal. We won. All that matters at this point. 🐏
  17. I have my own views on Warne but, and I know this sounds a little strange, why don’t we concentrate on what could be an extremely exciting end to the season, in many different ways, and try and enjoy it. Managers come and managers go but promotion seasons, if this were to be one, don’t happen all that often, so let’s worry about injuries, formations and other results and enjoy the ride. ‘The rest is just pure journalistic speculation’. Many years ago, at Sheff Utd away, just before Phil Gee scored, I remember news filtering through and the chant ‘Portsmouth are losing’ sung loudly from the away end. Memories. Just saying. COYR 🐏🐏
  18. A good win and welcome 3 points. Had the run of the ball a couple of times which was nice for a change and didn’t get anyone sent off despite the ref looking eager to in the first half. Loved Adams’ little celebration after that goalmouth block. I like him - just what we have needed. COYR 🐏🐏🐏
  19. With the greatest of respect, you might want to watch the incidents you talk of again, which might not be fully possible as they didn’t really happen. 👍
  20. I thought we were rubbish. I don’t understand why their defenders were allowed to do what they did from our corners though, with the ref looking straight after them. Our mentality is becoming a worry for me. Anyway, win the next ten and we’ll be fine…. 🐏
  21. He took that very, very well. I like Saturdays when Derby win. I am a simple man, easily pleased.
  22. The plughole is in the middle. And it was a 7. Although had more substance than the rumour that we were actually going to sign a centre forward.
