  1. What a load of rubbish- still not showing on ITV x I give up. Sums up the whole crap day so far
  2. I thought we had problems but how bad were they! Some good goals tonight. Should have been more really but much better. 🐏🐏🐏🐏
  3. Saves us money on heating. You need to be more positive.
  4. You need to up your parenting skills. Life isn’t about fun and good times. It’s sheer drudgery and constant disappointment. It’s clear what will help prepare your daughter for the adult world. Supporting successful sports teams is for losers. Where’s the character building in that?
  5. I have been thinking hard and have come up with a positive about the Warne era - we don’t take those stupid goal kicks where we pass it twice inside our own 6 yard area, putting calamitous defenders under undue pressure before aimlessly hoofing it anyway. I for one will be enjoying our goal kicks tomorrow night. The rest I am not so sure about but credit where it is due.
  6. Vickers Nyambe, Nelson, Bradley, Wilson Ward, White, Fornah, Springett Washington, Waghorn That is Warne’s team. His signings. I think Nyambe and Nelson are excellent. Vickers we can’t really judge. Ward and Fornah, the jury is out. Waghorn is someone’s mate who makes the numbers up. But that is his team. Does anyone think that is better than an 11 that was already here? I don’t. I wouldn’t want him spending any of my money.
  7. I wasn’t aware of that sad news but stand by my statement.
  8. Having heard Warne’s post match interview, I am convinced he’s the man for the job. He clearly knows what the problem is, his signings have on the whole been outstanding and there is a clear game plan that is evident on the pitch. He’s a real leader and has the backing of the players and a tactical understanding second to none in this league. He’s not responsible for our flaws. I think we can all agree he’s aware of what’s missing and would have addressed it if he had had a couple of transfer windows different to the ones he did have. Let’s get behind him - he’s the man and he wears hats!
  9. I know everyone is upset but just imagine how bad it will be in January when Nyambe has gone. Let’s enjoy it whilst we can. I still think we’ll stay up.
  10. Really irritating. Still, the club has no money, whatever brings in the most cash they have to do I suppose
  11. Thanks. To be honest, he just looks like a s*** Rod Hull. Doubt Emu would work with him anyway. Don’t think it was necessary but it’s a first world problem isn’t it really. Plenty more out there in the big wide world to get angry over.
  12. What did Mendez-Laing do after the goal? I was busy celebrating so must have missed it.
  13. I saw the ‘highlights’ yesterday and found it very frustrating seeing empty seats in the away end when it was a sell out. Was it the usual muppets just drinking in the concourses during the game, standing in the aisles or no shows. Frustrating having an away membership you can never use and seeing empty seats. Quite why i would want to go away from home at the moment I can’t really say but still!
  14. I’m not commenting on the game. I didn’t watch or listen to it. And that’s the problem Clowes has - I am a season ticket holder and an away member (who can never get a ticket) and yet I couldn’t even summon up the interest to walk into the next room and put the radio on. What are the floating, part-time supporters going to do? I think we can’t afford, long term, to not sack him as our revenue will be down substantially the way things are going making things even more difficult. I wouldn’t shed a tear to be honest.
  15. I still think we’ll stay up. I think you are all being too negative.
  16. Watching that, you can see that Colin Todd and Sonny Bradley are pretty much one and the same. Absolute liability Todd wasn’t he. RIP Gerry (Loved Langan too, what a bright light in a declining team)
  17. At least we can concentrate on the 100 World Cup which we have been practising for all summer. Oh, wait …
  18. On paper the squad is shaping up nicely. I’m looking forward to the season…. secure in the knowledge that it is the hope that kills you and it will probably in all likelihood be the usual s*** show.
  19. Early Weddoes song titles but still more comprehensible than some recent posts.
