  1. Their goal. A throw in, one turn, one pass and we're wide open on the opposite flank. I'm going to have nightmares about that. The ref was the worst (in a totally unbiased, equally inept for everyone type way) I've seen in years, and it doesn't even make the top 10 of things to be raging about. Hope I'm wrong, but unless we can sign a leader in that midfield (and now a striker) in the next week forget top 2. We might limp in top 6, but no way we win the play-offs. We don't have the minerals. Way too often we're soft and easy-osy when we need to dig in. I'm going out to the garden to scream until my vocal chords rupture.
  2. Abysmal from first to last. The passing was unimaginably awful. The offsides. The wasted set pieces. The absence of a shred of desire to fight for the shirt, each other, the fans or their wages. Disgusted. They need digging out for that.
  3. I'm going to try to tempt fate to help us by saying that I'm struggling to remember a worse performance.
  4. Nice. Improves us significantly as a squad. Welcome CBT.
  5. Can't explain how little strength I have for this. I'm going to bury my head in the sand and trust my lord and saviour David Clowes. Squeeze every fraction of a point out of every pound DC. COYR.
  6. Some nice moments from Fornah, but some utter garbage thrown in. Cannot trust him at present.
  7. Didn't lose in a game that will not live long in the memory. A lot of season left and there will be highs and lows. We're on a run 10W 2D 1L. Anyone moaning at that needs to give their head a wobble.
  8. I'm hopefully that his fitness and sharpness builds and we've got a real mainstay of the team in a few weeks. Glad he's signed.
  9. We bossed it, then conceded soft goals (well taken as they were), the we bossed it. My problem is the soft goals. We're not horrible enough. I'd love a Darryl Powell in that midfield.
  10. I think we're lucky to have two very competent keepers. Wildsmith made a mistake at Oxford, and could have done better, arguably, vs Posh. If he just keeps the shirt, that negates the value of two good keepers and competition for places.
  11. To be honest, I hadn't heard of it, no. Googled. Dubious. Adding the fish to it is not going in the right direction either. Chips and gravy? OK. Cheesy chips, OK. Beyond that, I'm out. Tutting, and out.
  12. You could make the same argument about getting bummed and heroin, but I shan't be trying them either. Cheese? Gravy? With cod and chips? Animal.
  13. Steady performance all round with a dash of traditional flakiness thrown in. Well deserved win, but I really would love Callum Elder to show the form that made him a Championship player. I thought he looked tentative still, and got owned for the equaliser. A run of games may be what he needs, but he won't get many more chances to step up. The Sibley sub was a clear warning. Come on Callum...believe!
  14. This season isn't it? New fast-track system.
  15. Go Pack Ho. Never saw that coming. Worth a late night for.
  16. Yeah...but that's where we are bud. He's a good option at our level.
  17. Fair point. For what it's worth (not much) I can't imagine that any of them are significant. We know (we think) that we haven't paid a fee for instance.
  18. According to Transfermarkt...I know...3 teams have spent fees in L1 this season. Barnsley, whose sales massively exceed expenditure, Bristol Rovers, and Charlton who have just podded the lad from WHU. I think the evidence is there.
