To me, it's simple. PW has said he only wants players who want to be here. KB wants to stay in the Poland squad and can't if he comes back to us. He wants to be somewhere high enough up the pyramid so he stays in the Polish squad. He's leaving. We might get a small transfer/loan fee or we might just have to cancel his contract and get his £20K a week wages off the books.

Making him come back would be of use to noone.

I agree with most of that.

The only question I have is, does dcfc get anything from the sale. I assume all money raised from the sale goes directly to Arsenal and that even then his sale will not be enough to completely pay of, the arsenal that the club owes.

we get a sum of money from him and in a year he'd probably go for free.

I think the club still owns arsenal 8 million for bielik, so it's unlikely the club would get enough to cover the arsenal repayment. So would the sale at least raise, say a third if the money owed? The only thing I want to know is if the transaction results in anything for the

DCFC. I suppose that all proceeds from the sale go directly to Arsenal and that even so, the proceeds from his sale will not be sufficient to cover the whole amount owed by the club to Arsenal. He pays us a certain amount, and in a year he'd probably be free to leave. It's unlikely that the club would receive enough money to pay off the 8 million that it still owes to the Arsenal for Bielik. Therefore, would the sale at least increase the debt by, say, a third?

pw seems clear about which type of players are in his plans.

We could probably use another player who great at creating assists.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/league-one/best-defence.html

Had one of the best defenses in League 1, but we could use some younger players in that area.

Pw mentions wanting to strengthen in the number 9 and 10 positions.

Pw says he doesn't want to bring in players who demand to play every game. Yet we have a number of older players who I expect to do less well next year and we will need a team where we can bring on younger legs so that the team doesn't look lethargic again towards the end of the season.

With one of the smallest teams in the division I'd like to see us reach 28 to 30 players for the coming season.

I'd like us to sign striker under 30 years old, someone capable of scoring at least 15 goals in the season

I don't think you're to many £s out, Tops £500k which in todays world aint that much, But, If we unload some of the younger talent and get a few bob...say £3m for them then that £500k could rise.

Football is skint if you're down with the dead men...which is most of the clubs in the EFL at a guess, Gonna be fun this transfer window 👍

I think the efl said to themselves, that they ate tired of taking slack over the level of punishment they've given derby.

They can be made to look good by a gesture of a very low amount, for which you might get an average player but no where need the number and quality of players the owner would want to buy for the club if he wants to see the club promoted this season.

We can lose some decent quality players over the summer to be replaced with mediocre talent.

We only get to spend a reasonable amount of money on players in the summer after the 2023/24 season.

This summer might be more of the same as last summer, older players with almost zero resale value replacing younger players who are improving on season by season basis and who, if under contract have a resale value.
