Personally I have everything crossed that CK pulls a rabbit out of a hat and completes the deal tomorrow.
We've come so far down this road that I've got used to him becoming our owner. I like the fact that Rooney seems happy with him, I like the fact that the people he is putting in charge are top drawer and I like the fact that if its done tomorrow I can look forward to the fixtures coming our and the season starting.

It may be significant that his exclusivity hasn't yet been removed. Hopefully they are giving him enough time to resolve outstanding issues while giving him a hurry up.

Well the 'emergency' sportscene talk in was really just one big advert for Mike Ashley.
Whilst I fear the short term impact of Ashley taking over (possible -15, resulting departure of Rooney and most of the players) something has to happen because time is running out. And Ashley will know that the only way he recoup any kind of profit is if he turns us into a premiersh*t club, however long that takes.
I've lost the energy for slagging of the administrators, and the EFL, just get the job done and let's start the rebuild, wherever that has to start from.

Don't forget it was Ed Dawes who told us unequivocally that Mel Morris had gone to ground only to retract that as completely untrue a few hours later.

Personally I feel that they should ignore the vocal morons deriding them and put out some information anyway.
The vast majority would appreciate any information and take it on face value.
Continuing silence is extremely disrespectful in my opinion and the longer it goes on the more supporters will read bad news into it.

Just as an aside, I think that we will get more coverage than normal in league 1 this season because of the World Cup.
I assume that Leagues 1 and 2 will continue when the top 2 divisions stop, so SKY will load their content with League 1 fixtures as they can't show World Cup games.
