No point in getting the money together to buy a car and then have no money left to put petrol in.
 

This debacle is far from over and you cant blame any player for leaving at best we will be offering low 12 month contracts
We will be unrecognizable by time the season starts, the longer this drags on day by day we will see more players gone and potential signings also snapped up we will be left with loans,freebies and dead beats

I'll take anyone, and be grateful whoever it is
But assuming none of the bidders will pay enough to avoid point deductions, my order of preference would be 
1. Ashley
2. Morgan
3. Appleby

Fans, media, analysts have to assign some blame on the EFL - remember, they bounced CK (and possibly other bids?) 6 months ago - before Christmas - when they folded their arms, smiled and told Q they could not name a PB because of the parasite claims.
Yes there was the stadium issue but bidders could not move to action if they could not quantify the parasite claims or learn a definite creditor status of those claims.
That served to defer progress for Q & suitors on all other requirements, had they met Q's bid thresholds. It also served EFL's hidden agenda of appeasement to parasites and others to make Q & Rooney look foolish when declaring they hope for January squad reinforcements - because 'assured relegation' had to play out.
So not only did Derby fail to sign or retain wanted players, they had to shed 14 more in order to cobble together the cashflow to get to May.
Q & EFL also failed to know, learn or pursue the alleged CK money routes in train to ensure deal completion and financial salvation - for 2 months! Diabolical lack of duty, given the approval of CK in the fit & proper tests.

I really am finding it hard to maintain a positive approach towards this. It is like we’re walking blindfolded towards the edge of the cliff only no one has told us how far away the cliff is. The incompetence by all parties involved in this is beyond belief. I really can’t see how we can assemble a competitive squad with everything up in the air. If Rooney walks, which I think is highly likely, we will be even further behind than where we are now. It is already like we are starting for 100m sprint a lap down. 

Beggars can't be choosers.  The Fixture List is published next week (Thursday, June 23rd). If we don't get a deal done inside the next week, then I can't see the EFL letting us go on a month-to-month basis of proving funds - they will kick us out beforehand and replace us. The other L1 clubs also want certainty (and avoid the possibility of losing a prime fixture / 5% of their income / refunding ST holders a game / suing or throwing handbags at EFL).
Step forward ... Mike Ashley.  He specialises in doing quick last-minute deals (Look at Missguided earlier this month - went into Administration, but MA bought it within 48 hours). It's ready-made for him now.

It’s hard to imagine any of the sealed offer bidders will be offering anything like what CK was promising 
I am expecting packages of
low offers to creditors 
lower offers to administrators 
easily more point deductions 
yes they will want the ground as well 
whilst the EFL are suggesting that they want to see the offers because they think Q will make a decision based on what suits them the most I don’t think the EFL will be that fortunate 
it’s going to be a tough next 10 days folks so let’s hope for the best

Yes i think you are correct about Q,lining there own pockets and not doing there jobs properly how can they give exclusivity to someone who had no chance of getting the deal over the line,even if KC comes back to the table now i very much doubt he as anywhere near the funds its going to take to build a team to make us competitive let alone promotion quality
If you believe MA  representative he as already said he would not pay Q crazy fees and this is why he is not sat round the table with them,this could of been done months ago had he of been.MA is not every ones cup of tea for sure but its better than oblivion and may be our only option soon

5pm will likely come and go with nothing but rumours I suspect. Then we have the weekend and yet another Monday of ‘this must be the day’. 

Someone with conman sense finally,i have said for weeks if it comes down to the crunch MA will get the club he will not give a damm about the creditors they will be lucky to get 10p in the pound,yes we will end up with a possible points deduction for the season but again that will not worry MA,it will be take it or liquidate it

Again all you say is indeed true,however like i said MA will play the waiting game and it will be take it or leave it scenario,he is not one bit concerned about the creditors they will end up taken around 10p in the pound if there lucky plus payment plan to the HMRC but all this saves DCFC moving forward
The longer this drags on the longer we have a big chance of going into liquidation the HMRC bill as already gone from 28m to 36m since administration and chuck on top the bill from Q about another 5m
