Having such a great team and going to home and away games, never noticed pressure till after our final game and then we had to wait till midweek for one outstanding match then that was pressure, and the 90 mins was an eternity, do not want to name the teams and spoil it for others for the lads who are putting this season together are doing a great job.

Was going to say the same, without trying to pull the thread forward a couple of weeks, all the stress was after we finished playing our games!

It was pre Rick and his crew so all decisions were above board. Juventus game cough cough, was more in line with EFL philosophy.

no nothing like the ELF, the ELF don't hide their blatant bias. Juventus did at least try to keep it covered up.

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.

I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!

    Mel Morris is a banker,

    He wears a bankers hat,

He said he loved our Derby,

    But he's a ducking twit.

He said that he would sell us,

    And wanted just a pound,

But he's a lying bar steward,

    And took away our ground.

i suggest it could do with twit modifying slightly to Rhyme?

    It doesn't though, does it.

    Its a song that says he's a w-anchor,

and then list the reasons why, one of them being the domestic abuse.

And then celebrates the Karma of (and makes light of (oh no!)) his leg break.

The original version didn't have the leg break or the domestic violence angle to be fair, it was aimed at being  not good enough to play for the national team.

i stopped singing it when it was amended, however still will never forgive the high five with Yorke after Yorke's  tackle that took Dean Yates's ankle.

Great news we finally get a PB.  But why is it I still get wound up by the pathetic comms from the EFL.....

"...the EFL has been focused on ensuring that there is a long-term future for the Club."   Really? Love to see how.

"Now that the League has been advised of the preferred bidder status by the Administrators, we await details of the formal proposals and once in receipt, these will be reviewed in line with EFL requirements..."  Why do you have to say "now"? You're like a spoilt child.  Keep it factual.  "Following notification by the admins of the PB.....".  And how long will your review take?  Long enough to see us down with further points deductions and player losses?

"This process will allow us to understand what hurdles may still need to be overcome before matters can move forward......" Sorry?  After nearly 2 years you still don't understand the hurdles? Maybe read this thread - you'll possibly learn a thing or two.

Yes as usual the ELF are up for roadblocks

  6. With the involvement of the council i did have another thought that the County Council pension fund may step in as an investment vehicle, i believe the City Council employees are in the County pension fund. In this way no tax payers money will be directly spent and the Pension Fund have very profitable asset.

I could be wrong on this, but I think that's a one-off arrangement that was put in place because of COVID. I've certainly never heard of it being applied before.

The bigger issue might be accepting card payments.  Credit Card companies are not going to take the risk of letting people spend £400+ on a season ticket for a club that's potentially about to implode.  They'll be on the hock if we do go bust and people try to claim the ticket money back on their cards.

Not posted on here for a while, mainly because i don't want get into virtual bun fight with people who are guessing what is going off.

However to note i have had a voucher this week to use on a matchday ticket in lieu of the Brentford covid postponement.

i thought i had asked the club to keep it at the time (pre administration), but even if i hadn't i am surprised it has not counted as a admin credit.

    How are they artificially inflated?

Thought i'd explain since you didnt seem to grasp the concept on your ladt reply...

This joust got me thinking when was the last time we had an official league attendance below 20000 amazingly it was 2004!

I've no idea if it's related by i had an email from my bank saying they've put in a new verification step for online payments and that if the vendor hadn't yet upgraded then payments might decline. So could be something like that? That was HSBC

    Almost definitely verification.

The main issue has been the card user having changed their Mobile Number and not informed the bank.

    Made the same mistake myself.

We received an e-mail at work advising us to explain to employees about it. Don't remember it saying to put it on the payslip.

HMRC is asking employers, where appropriate, to include the following message on payslips:

‘1.25% uplift in NICs, funds NHS, health & social care’.

    This is from .GOV

You still studying, or is this view as a result of a few months work/business experience?  How many times have you sang Duck the EFL in the last few months. I am all for Q treating them with total disdain.

Exactly this, it's a tactic i believe they should have been using with the EFL since day 1.

If they had done this from Day 1, I believe we would be out of Admin by now with a new owner settling in.

Boro and Whackem would have not been able to have any meaningful input into the proceedings and UK Admin law would have prevailed.
