Doesnt suprise me but cant believe how some fans lay into a manager whos come in without a pre season and cant sign players ffs! You all sound like the arsenal fans calling for arteta to be sacked 🙄! And PS - he should be gun shy from ruiz! Hes a clever bloke and you can see what hes trying to do! Problem is a banger has to commit and will leave themselves vulnerable to a good counter puncher or lucky punch! He thinks way too much! End of day when hes in there and is worried about whats coming back, when thats not his style, hes potentially done! That ruiz punch could have been a career ender! I hope it aint, i hope AJ finds either his old style (doubtful) or a new style that uses his strengths and works for him!

Like you say AJ is gun shy, ever since ruiz! The casuals are used to AJ banging people out and thats what they want to see, pay to see! Thats where the hate comes from imo!

I havent watched the fight yet but i can predict what im going to see! I like AJ, would love to see him fight wilder, but it depends which AJ! 
 

Franklin is a decent boxer, listening to the interviews he wasnt even a full time pro until last year! Good fight against dillian and hes been training proper, trimmed down, was never going to be easy for the "new" AJ style! Old AJ maybe! 
 

End of the day AJs got the rounds under his belt after time out! New trainer and gym so first fight with them! Hopefully he will progress but with AJ he was a banger, listening to his interviews he over thinks it and im not sure he has it mentally! 
 

Ffs AJ just keep your hands up, work behind your jab and unload when you get the chance! Dont worry about whats coming back or gassing out!

Anyone recommend any decent boxing podcasts? Getting fed up with the 5live one, a week of build up for the AJ fight and no mention of other bouts! Plus i cringe so hard my face falls off when i hear buncey interview women boxers!

Im not really "feeling" this world cup yet! Dont seem right not being in the summer! Dont get me started on fifa giving it to qatar! Im in my 30s but usually get the sticker albums to do with the kids etc but cant afford or be arsed this year! 
 

As for the team, wobbly mouth has picked his usual players that have tournament expierence and hes loyal to! Can see them setting up defensive in the group games and scraping 1 or 2 nils! The logic being warm up against the group teams in the same formation, tactics as youd play against the bigger teams later on in the tournament! Will be interesting though as the usual excuse is the players are tired after a long season but this one, in theory, there all primed and ready to go halfway through a league season! Also maybe hes learned against the italy final to not shut up shop too early! Reminded me of clough against leicester that time lol! If we had gone for them i think we would have beat the italiens!
 

Unless we win it, this will be his last tournament as England manager so will see if the players hes always so loyal to pull it out the bag for him! ?

Look, i know we all hate forest here but clearly there european super squad is lulling the premier league into a false sense of security before there push for a european place later in the season!

Canelo v ggg will be interesting! A 40 year old ggg is defo on his way out but the last two were close! Itll probs be his last fight, he will want to go out with a win, if not a good performance, whether hes got it left in the tank or not though!

Canelos 32 but 61 fights must take its toll!! Hes rich, he has a family, he has done it all pretty much, his legacy is cemented imo, has he still got the hunger? Safe bets obviously canelo but i might put a 5er on ggg stopping him!

Not had chance to re watch the fight yet but something that i remembered from lastnight was Usyk was begging for a left hook from aj! Might be wrong n will rewatch but remeber thinking, throw a left hook cos usyk had that southpaw right hand hanging when he trow a jab altho might have been a trap from usyk tho!

But he didnt, he held his guard high n just walked around n let usyk recover! First opinion, that was AJs chance, step on the gas n do him but he seemed like he had punched himself out! Again these r just first opinions, need to rewatch to get a good understanding of the fight!
