Looks to me like I don't need to do anything?
As I'm paid up and in credit, I went online last week to "book" my reserved seat for the upcoming Boro & Forest games. Printed off. Sorted. All taken from my credit of course, so nothing to pay.
All went smoothly for me (but I'm aware some folks missed that "Reserved seat" bit, and assumed their seat had been taken, so ended up booking different seat(s)!Looking again just now, it looks like my 21/22 season ticket (The remaining 20 home games) has been auto booked and assigned to me, by the club, and I can only assume the new season card will be wending it's way to me through the post?
My accounts states:
Season Tickets
Season Ticket 2021/2022 10054*** (NAME*), North Stand Upper, Gate NU-H , (SEAT DETAILS*)
OptionsNow, that 8 digit number immediately after the 2021/2022 is not my Customer ID, so hopefully, that is just some random booking/reference number for their benefit? (My name and ID number are clearly stated at the head of the page, as is the norm).
Clicking on that "Options" button merely takes me to a single row of the ticket details, albeit with a tick box at the head of the row. Ticking the box literally changes nothing, achieves nothing, and confirms nothing.
There are no comments or statements confirming I am all sorted, no secret messages hiding anywhere, and nothing to suggest that the card is being posted out to me. Everything is guesswork, but "It does appear to have been assigned to me"!
No email either. Not even a generic automated "Welcome back loyal supporter" type update or a confirmation of anything having been done in the background.
If I hadn't logged in to check, I'd remain 100% uninformed since last week's brief statement that season tickets would be available from today.I have to ask... Is it all done for me? Do I literally sit back and do nothing?
If... and it seems to be getting a bigger and bigger if as each week passes... my above guesswork/assumptions are correct, then of course, I'm happy. I am back to being a STH, and my new card is in the post. Ramtastic!
But I can't help thinking that the lack of communication, information, and simple generic updates is nothing short of a poor show.I hate to harbour even the minutest hint of negativity towards my beloved football club, but I have to say, they are now beginning to grind me down, make me doubt them, and maybe even fall a little bit out of love with them.
Hey Ho! Up The Rams, and all that!
EDIT:
Posted whilst other posts above were being posted, so not seen them at time of posting)Where do you find the bit where it states what season ticket you have and in what area?
Im trying to see if mines automatically renewed but can’t see it anywhere?

I’ve just callled the ticket office at Notts County and she said that they stopped selling them at 1pm. She said there was some available so not sure why they didn’t just sell them to get some more money? Also said there won’t be pay on the day tickets either

As someone who makes the opposite journey to matches, get the Red Arrow from the bus station.
If there's two of you, get a Zigzag duo from the driver, otherwise just buy a Zigzag.
Get off at the first stop after the QMC, Parliament St outside the stage door pub.
From there, cross the road opposite a bar called Copper, walk down the hill to the market square, keeping on the right hand side.
Once at the square, you'll see a parade of shops, a Virgin money bank, and a pub, the bus stop you need is outside, heading to Cotgrave.
The Old Bell is worth a detour, and there's a nice enough Spoons a hundred yards or so up the pedestrian road between the Bell and the shops.
Show the zigzag ticket to the driver, and when the stench gets noticable but not yet overpowering, get off the bus and walk over London Road to Meadow Lane.
sound mate cheers this is helpful!! I will most likely be doing this. Shame there’s no trains for an atmosphere, but this sounds just as good

By the way some of The trains are saying there taking over a hour to nottingham. There must be a replacement bus on the way.
they’re all replacement buses. I was hoping it would be a bit like forest away and loads of us on a train but clearly not!
Anyone know anything more about which train/bus everyone is getting?

Controversial, Lee isn’t good enough. Does the basics well, end of. Fozzy past it. So wouldn’t sell on basis of squad depth but neither good enough IMO
I completely agree. Everyone hypes Buchanan up but i’ve never really been a fan. Looks so uneasy on the ball and needs to relax. His deliveries into the box and aerial ability are decent tbf, however i wouldn’t be too bothered if we sold him to get funds.
Would much rather sell him than Knight or Sibley

Can’t find much out about him, other than that he’s a centre back. Obviously that’s a priority position, but his age is a concern. If it was one for the U23s then that wouldn’t be a problem, but an 18 year old is very young to play in defence for the first team.
To captain the u23s at United shows how highly rated he is. He has already made his debut for their first team which is obviosuly very impressive. Maybe worth a punt should Wisdom or Clarke get injured

Looks like a decent player and for 200k why not
-
Not sure why he would want to go so desperately. Stay at Derby and push for first team football, as shown by other academy players recently, and progress as a first team player
or, move to a big team and be amongst the under 18s/23s for ages, then potentially not even make it into their first team.
big decision for the lad
