  1. I've given Warne some stick but I am a big fan of him saying we need to be better after a 0-3 win. We need to set the standards high to get promoted ASAP.
  2. Winning feels good. Full time whistle should go just as my taxi to the pub arrives. COYR
  3. Tactical genius from Warne. Buying the players so valuable rest time.
  4. Typical. Warne finally puts a run of form together only to walk in to a MotM curse. What an amateur.
  5. We managed to lose Andre Wisdom in the countryside once so it's not unheard of...
  6. If he's got a brain he'll avoid Sheff Utd like the plague. Getting smashed every week for the rest of the season in the Prem isn't going to do his development any favours. West Ham or Brighton would likely be far better career moves for him.
  7. Non-payment of players gets you a points deduction. Non-payment of everyone else gets you nothing. Paying the staff 50% or whatever the figure is just before Christmas is an absolute scandal. If I were one of the players I'd be looking to put a fund together to help out the staff at Christmas.
  8. There has to be something we can do with this...
  9. We have plan A, cross from the left to nobody and plan B, cross from the right to nobody.
  10. My Spurs supporting mate explained it to me like this, "He might not get the goal or the assist, but he is always involved in whatever lead to a goal or assist. He ties it all together." Now, do I think we should move Bellingham to accommodate him? Absolutely not. On current form, Bellingham is among the best players on the planet. You play him in whichever position he is most comfortable and most likely to win you games, as he has been doing for Madrid.
  11. I don't see why we would wait until then to get it done. He is obviously the kind of player we want. I'd put an extension in front of him now instead of waiting for a month when he will have his agent and other clubs in his ear ever 10 minutes.
  12. Offering contracts covers us in a tribunal as well I think, so even if they don't sign new deals and leave in the summer we can still expect to get some money in.
  13. My personal view on a CEO who presides over an organisation that goes bust in the way Derby did is that they either knew what was going on and were too weak and/or incompetent to change the outcome, or they had no idea what was really going on in which case they were too weak/incompetent to change the outcome.
  14. So the problem is that we are only crossing half as much as we should then. If anything Warne has got us playing too much irrelevant nonsense through the middle!
