  1. Although a quick read of a Rochdale forum indicates that you might not be far off the mark 😄 https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/rochdale/forum/305208/oduroh-returns-to-derby/#10
  2. Would they have played him 22 times if they didn't think he was worth playing?
  3. All Barton is doing is showing himself up as the aggressive gobshite he has always been. His career is littered with incidents of violent and abusive behavior. He's a complete clown and the best thing everyone can do is ignore him and not give his idiotic tweets the oxygen to breath.
  4. At least with Warne in charge the state of the pitch can't impact any of our slick passing play, because there isn't any.
  5. That makes the dross they served up alright then! Even if some of the fans don't the players should.
  6. Does Warne do angry, shouty bollockings? If not, he should probably consider one tonight. This has been borderline gross misconduct from Derby.
  7. This been an absolute nonsense performance. Absolutely nothing resembling our recent form on display. Cack.
  8. Good job we're not in League 2 or we'd be in serious trouble.
  9. I've said similar already today in one of the transfer threads, but sites like this just seem to slap our name on an article because they know it will drive engagement. It's usually based on a tweet or half arsed unnamed 'source'. We might end up signing one or two of the players we get linked with, but only because we are currently being linked with bloody everyone. Not having a go at you @Oldben, just noticing a pattern in this window and the way it gets covered.
  10. Every rubbish journo shoveling L1 transfer news is tagging Derby, Bolton and Pompy to boost engagement it seems.
  11. I was too busy regurgitating my own (absolutely correct and irrefutable) arguments from two months ago to even notice that typo. Sounds like an exotic bird to me.
  12. Warne is getting plenty of credit for our form on this forum, including from people who previously wanted him out. We are a team chasing promotion, which is to Warne's credit. It is an entirely valid discussion point to consider how the way we are playing football will translate to a higher division should we reach it. I could just as easily turn around and say that anyone that wanted Warne out is now having any form of criticism shouted down, no matter how valid, because they have somehow been proven wrong and should be eating so much humble pie they can't even speak. Warne is currently doing a very good job, if he continues to do a very good job we may get promoted. Will what he is doing be enough for us to meet our objectives if that happens? Some people might think it is, I remain unconvinced.
  13. For an example of what a cohesive attacking unit looks like the Peterborough game at PP is a great example. Their attacking unit knew how to pull our defenders out of position, then put people in the spaces that opened up. When we go forward it's usually involving the ball being worked out wide, or us countering against a team that has committed too many men up the pitch. When we are advancing against a team that has retained it's shape we don't really have many ideas a lot of the time, barring a bit of individual brilliance. In League One we can pretty much brute force it with better players against most of the division. My concern remains how this translates to the Championship where most of the teams up there are capable of playing a bit of decent football.
  14. Smith would be a very short term stop-gap presumably? He's not going to be the goalscorer we need if we get promoted and at his age he'll be wanting one last decent contract from whichever club he ends up at. We have been that club a few too many times and I hope we avoid doing so again.
  15. Can't help but feel we're being used to drive the price up before a Championship club comes in last minute and nabs him if that is anywhere near true. I am also still convinced that Clowes is going to simply refuse to overpay for players.
  16. Oh dear Pompey. What sort of daft club loses away to Cheltenham?
  17. That second half was poor, made hard work of it. The team just look a lot less comfortable when setting up with a back three. That being said, a 1-3 win away is a good result and keeps pace with the top of the table.
  18. This second half has been absolutely revolting from Derby. Utter garbage.
  19. Doesn't matter if we play 3 or 4 at the back. We should be beating Fleetwood.
  20. Collins was excellent last time out as well. Never really get the stick towards him.
  21. I doubt anyone is offering us enough money in Jan to make it worth doing. Everyone knows they can get him for free in the summer so we'll get low balled. Replacing a key position like that will likely cost a lot more than we'd ever get in. Make it a problem for the summer when we have more time, that's my view anyway.
  22. The list of left backs seen off by Fozzy is absolutely mental.
