You know how to use one of these right?
You tip it upside down with the lid on and fill the bulb, then turn it the right way up.
Take the bulb out and capillary action keeps the vinegar in the bulb - you then tap the bulb and drops of vinegar com out

Thank you, you've changed my life with the most useful post I've ever seen on this forum.
I feel such a fool, all these years drowning my chips in vinegar, and foolhardily over salting to compensate!

When threads get hijacked by posters who endlessly continue old off-topic and pedantic circular arguements started elsewhere.
Hypothetically. Glad this never happens on here, obviously.

Just been reminded of this one by Animal in the Random Things That Annoy Me thread, where he mentions the phrase "cheeky Nandos"
On Feb 14th I walked to the Cardiff game and back, passing the Nandos on the market place twice in each direction.
I always enjoy seeing the miserable faces on the couples sat in the window anyway, but on Valentines Day it is extra special.
When you've just watched Derby throw away a two goal lead and lose the game, it cheered me up no end to witness people having a worse night than me

But getting rid of it is the key. I used to feel like that - that if I could just get out of Derby, things would be different, but eventually the reality dawned on me that "where you are" does not define "who you are" or "what you are", And I also realised that I was putting impossibly hard barriers in the way in a self-defeating manner. It didn't feel like I was doing it on purpose, but certainly on a sub-conscious level I was making excuses for my own inaction by putting what seemed like reaonable conditions (in your case "moving to America") in place, when in reality they were far from reasonable (getting meaningful employment in the US as a foreign national is notoriously difficult even bfore Trump clamps down on it even further!)
But the bottom line is that in your head you picture it as "living the dream" but you still have all the exact same things in your head, and in your life. You just have a different geographic co-ordinate. You're still under the same sun and you still **** out the same hole.
A bloke on a football forum spouting cod philosophy at you isn't going to change anything for you, I get that, but the key line is (ironically) in New York, New York:

Yes agree Stive. Apologies. Went off on a bit of a ramble then! Not to worry........................so long as it doesn't bring me out in Doncaster!!!
If a place attracts you then by all means go for it if you can but I agree Stive, don't think that place is the answer and everything is solved. It might very well turn out that way but if if doesn't then it's best not to pin everything on it.
Likewise, staying in the same place has nothing wrong with it. Many people stay around where they were born and feel content and happy there and good for them. Nothing wrong with that but some have yearnings to get away and try something different. Sometimes it's better and sometimes people end up back where they started because their 'escape' didn't work out or wasn't what they thought it was and they are happier and belong back where they were born / raised.
Like you say Stive, they are just places and it's more what you enjoy / experience along the way and the people you meet that makes the journey more important than the destination sometimes.

Good post Tony - I won't quote the whole thing for obvious reasons, but just wanted to clear up that I wasn't 100% clear
I didn't mean that staying in the same place is the answer. There are many valid reasons to get away from certain places, and it sounds like you had many. I was more trying to say don't focus on a single alternative place and put it on some pedestal as being the one thing that will make all your troubles right and your fears disappear. That one place could literally be a million other places. It's the mental journey that is more important than the physical journey

yes, it sounds like a too familiar problem mate, over thinking is a major problem and with life zipping by at 100mph I believe we are losing out on things that should be our priority, spending time with your girlfriend and family and going on holiday and just relaxing, forget the business, leave your phone at home and just chill and reflect.
someone I was talking to at the school gates a few month ago decided that he wasn't happy with life and went to Malawi, he helped out at an orphanage and lived a real basic existence, he didn't contact anyone for three months and came back a new man, he lost a few stone, he was more motivated and less depressed than at any other point of his life.
the tips I would give is this:
1.always leave your business at the doors of your business, never bring it home and don't even think about it, 9-5 is business time, not before or after.
    2. always structure your day, get up at a set time and go to bed at a set time.
    3. always take care with your appearance and never let things slip, your running a business, shape up.
    4. boredom is a killer, when you get work in the morning work out your tasks for the day and write it down, try and work through it and if not delegate to others to complete it.
5.walk, yep its a utopian ideology, go and take a lovely long walk and enjoy this country we are fortunate to have.
    6. change what you have been doing and set a new path, something is clearly not right and unfortunately depression can do some serious damage to your health and ultimately put you in a tailspin without a return ticket.
    7. go to America and stay a bit longer, it is probably not the country you think it is (especially under the Trumpmeister lol)
    8. go and have a ******* laugh you miserable ****, laughter is the best tonic and you cant buy it.

Yes it's the rules apparently. As the refs can add further time on at their discretion (most commonly for timewasting in stoppage time). So the rules are that you can't show added time in case it goes over and the players, and the crowd start questioning the ref's discretion
Same reason they can replay goals on the big screen, but they can't replay contentious decisions like offsides, handballs  red cards etc
Basically nothing that can undermine the authority of the ref's decisions
