  1. The Stevenage pundits are doing ther best to put a positive spin on things:
  2. Stevenage goal incoming any moment now. You just know it.
  3. Paul warne has donned a bobble hat for the second half. We're saved.
  4. Sleep with one eye open, Biting your pillow tight, exit light, enter night, Evens' lands, And it's off to never never land....
  5. Someone who has embraced the hatred? "they see me rollin, they hatin...."
  6. Preparation: Pop down the BnQ, https://www.diy.com/departments/slug-killer/3663602556596_BQ.prd deploy around the away technial area and bob's your uncle 3 points.
  7. Derby 1-1 Stevenage Sibley "Of course it's a concern now that we've lost 3 more players to injury, no, i don't think it was a dirty game, just all those fractured limbs were really unfortunate. I was please with how we played, limiting them to only the one chance."
  8. Making lemonade sounds great but depends on you also having sugar when life hands you the lemons. But if we're missing Collins we are going to suffer for it if only his work rate which is good and physical presence. Hope it's nothing serious.
  9. I get the feeling the pack of Ferrari, merc and McLaren are going to be closer to red bull this season, but I fear not close enough with verstappen in the car (Perez for Danny Ric is surely a when not if). I'd 100% be over the moon if I'm wrong and there's teams and drivers in an even fight this year. It does look like everyone is refining their cars under these regulations and particually Ferrari and Merc think they've got the right way to unlock the performance, Ferrari last year was fast but impossible to drive on the limit over a race stint, hence ruining it's tyres, hence throwing the strategy under the bus, compromising set ups to make it managable etc (paraphrasing from the race's podcast there) but they think they've resolved that. (although, Ferrari, always, gonna Ferrari). There's a bit of me that is interested in how "what Horner (allegedly) did" overshadows their launch, but then there's the bit of me that knows it'll be PR managment overdrive.
  10. So the malevolent hand of the forum power structures shows itself. No more safe spaces for cautiously optimistic on Warne posters, just the savage, merciless, relentless assault of the out outters! Well here this (!) : Whimper... we're kinda doing ok even if it's not great to watch....
  11. Derby 1-2 Exeter Sibley Warne out thread to reach serious inflation levels.
  12. Of course there's always the possibility that the relegate themselves through gumption alone and get their points deduction next year, which would be hilarious.
  13. Failing to score when they were down to 14 rang the alarm bells.
  14. Despite taking a 2-1 lead forest dug deep to find a way to lose. Outstanding work by the gary baldys of rushcliffe borough.
  15. Shot ourselves on the foot there didn't we? Oh well, at least everyone else messed up today except pompy.
  16. Bringing back tyre suppliers and allowing tyre development (within spec on size, pressures etc to keep some sense on it) would be really fun.
  17. Time to look again at the Bernie's bright ideas selection box: Short cuts; Sprinklers; Not championship points, but a gold silver and bronze medal; Give Ferrari more money; <I'm sure he had other spice up the show ideas but I can't remember them off the top of my head> Or maybe some more left field ideas, like junk DRS, make the cars smaller and lighter, let them have good tyres again, allow testing, stick a bottle of poppers in verstappen's hemlet.....
  18. I'm not sure which I dislike more, DRS or that F1 has become so dependent on DRS.
