I've just had a peak on their forum again, they seem to be in somewhat of a crisis - not over JWZ so to speak, but the club are offloading a number of their best players. 
They're in disbelief of the fee received for him, though. 20m seems to have rubbed a few of them up the wrong way, albeit it sounds like they already have a replacement lined up in Jacob Rinne. 
There are a couple more posts about the issues with his feet (assuming distribution and receiving the ball under pressure). I guess it's not something we tend to do, but I'm intrigued to what extent he struggles. It seems like he's taken significant developmental strides over the past year (or so) particularly in the air and not being so erratic coming out - although after Wildsmith smashing two people on the edge of the box for penalties that's nothing new. 
I think we're getting a keeper who is still pretty raw, but refining what he is and has fantastic attributes to work with. Warne has always placed an emphasis on the goalkeeper position and even working with pittance at Rotherham was always able to sign good goalkeepers.

Been a long time since I’ve posted on here but coincidentally Jacob is actually a friend of a Swedish friend of mine so thought I’d share what I know about him.
I know he wanted to leave Djurgårdens this summer but did not expect Derby to be in for him (heard asking price was around 2 million at the start of the summer). I haven’t been told specific financial details of the deal with Derby but it’s significantly less than that. So far the agreement is only verbal but as of now I would be surprised if he wasn’t a Derby player by early next week.
As a player he’s aggressive coming for the ball especially from crosses. Doesn’t just stand on his line. His best attribute is his shot stopping and he’s agile for a big man. His long balls are good as well, they create chances and he has had some assists from them.
He had a very serious concussion injury when he was younger which nearly made him stop playing football and kept him out for 1.5 years. That’s why he now wears a helmet when playing.
As a person I’ve heard he’s down to earth and very smart and hard working. He actually studied to be a doctor whilst playing for Djurgårdens. His English is also fantastic and definitely fits the type of person Warne looks for.
Personally very excited about this deal, good value for a good player with potential. Recruitment has been very impressive so far!

Also the initial payment is spread over 3 payments so around 250k per year 

When you look at the maths on it too it makes economical sense

Is anyone else really pleasantly surprised by the business we've done so far this summer?
Using the European market, sensible fees, clear strategy signings round pegs for round holes...really impressed so far.

I think once Ozoh and Zetterstrom are signed. We need a target man number 9. A goal scoring number 10. A LWB and a pacey centre back.

I think there will be two more midfielders in. Fornah sold or loaned out. Robinson sent out on loan.
If Dembele came in I can see Barkhuizen being out the door.
Definitely a centre forward needed.

I’ve just heard Dembele all but done, and Bobby Clark loan… it’s third hand, and apparently usually reliable. So guess we will see. 
 
ps - I’m really trying to get too excited about Dembele. 

Mr Warne has got what he wants.
Ebou has got what he wants.
We have what we want.
Right now this is the best squad that Warne has ever had going into a championship season.
Really hope he gets the chance over the next few seasons to build on this promotion and have a good go at get our mighty rams back to the top flight.
Five in including ex premier league player in his prime, jet propelled forward, former Dutch under 21 international, returning hero and a loan for a decent championship striker.
By the sounds of the chatter coming from within pride park that's not half of th business we want to do.
We have to be happy with the progress by mid July 
Goalkeeper to follow with more in the middle of the park and up front .
Plus maybe a couple for the back line and that's a healthy transfer window .
Not sure it will pan out like that but there does seem to be plenty of activity behind the scenes .
Stability and sure footed progress look to be the order of the day.
After the succession of owners managers and high priced players over the last 15 years or so .....personally be very happy to see us consolidate our position this season and have a go over the next two at getting promoted.
No more shooting for the moon and missing.
The nay sayers and know it alls will no doubt be clamouring for more than that but the expectation levels are different to the last time we were signing players for fees.
No individuals......but a team made up of reliable determined players .
Players like Trevor Hebbard, Paul Blades, Micky Forsyth.....good honest pros
Add a sprinkle of Paul Goddard and Dean Saunders types and you are onto a winner.

Emotional. The vid of him meeting the players again brings a tear. The warrior is back amongst his clan.

I listened to the coaches' interview and a part of me cringed.  But they acknowledged that aspect and as I listened I got what Warne wants.
So many footballers reflect back on how transient their lifestyle is, as team mates come and go. Warne is actively trying to change that culture of headphones on,  not speaking, everyone on their own path.
Ebou talked about how he was messaging mates etc. You can feel there is a heart to the club,  they talk about real stuff and because of that they have a proper bond.
Chuffed for Ebou...and really hope Warne's ideas bear fruit!
