  1. I think defence is ok, particularly with Nyambe and Rooney back. I imagine Warne will want a 5-3-2 system for most games, so a proper left wing back to come in to compete with Sibs.

Keep Fozzy for one more year as back up to Cashin and Elder for when we play a 4-3-3 system. If we can afford it keep Corey Smith for another season. If we cannot afford the new strikers then I would give Collins another year.

    Let go.                       Bring in

    Hourihane.                 Left midfield

    Bird.                            Right midfield

    Adams.                       Centre midfield (hopefully Adams)

    Collins.                        Striker

    Gayle.                          Striker

    Waghorn.                     Striker

    TJJ.                              D.Brown

    Barkhuizen                  D.Robinson

                                         Left wing back

Rail seating does not introduce any more seats at all. The seats are the same, just a rail added.

Incorrect, rail seating increases the ratio.

  3. I don't know why they do not reduce the away section to say two an a half thousand, its not as if it gets filled very often therefore allowing more of the south stand to Derby fans. Also the disabled section in the bottom left could be moved to the lower section of the Gordon Guthrie stand if developed into one as again that area is not used much. If rail seating is introduced then this could further add a couple of thousand more.

  4.                      Wildsmith

    Smith.     Nelson.    Cashin.    Elder

             Thompson  Adams.  Sibley

    Ward.             Waghorn.           CBT

Nice balance, expect Collins on the bench. Smith a better right back option than Wilson in my opinion.

Sounds like you only saw the stats, I'll sum it up for you but if you watched the game or the extended ignore it. We had one chance in the entire second half -you read that right- plus two half-chances in the first, nothing else ofubbing note; the other way keeper pulled two worldies, they hit the bar and came close at least a couple more times (50'-64'). Now I would agree the above against a tough opponent is "solid" if we were mid-table or lower, for an aspiring top 2/3 side at home I would call it "a stinker".

So be humble, accept we got the rub of the green (as has been the case numerous times this season, I make it win #9 where we haven't been the better side - 18 points right there for those who like their points and ppgs), be grateful for the result and move on, no need to get all snidey. Spare the gloating and glorifying for when we are actually decent and worthy winners, not after smash-and-grabs on our own turf. My tuppence anyway.

I am humble and can accept we may have had the rub of the green on 9 occasions but then again as they say you make your own luck, especially over 46 games, anyway I am loving it and feel very good and content this morning., probably not as good as when Craig Bryson scored a hatrick against notts forrist in the 5-0 thrashing.

Let's hope this lucky streak continues. Up the mighty Rams.

  6.                  Wildsmith

    Smith.   Nelson.  Cashin.  Elder

             Bird    Adams.  Sibley

    Ward.          Gayle.             CBT

This is assuming Nyambe, NML and Hourihane are out injured and Elder fit.

I would go with a four at the back and Smith can play right back with a more attacking midfielder in. We need to create more chances on goal.

Subs. Loach, Bradley, Thompson, Fornah, Wilson, Barkhuizen, Waghorn.

Any views on how we were so overrun for that 20 min spell after halftime? (They really should have equalised with one chance in particular but otherwise the defence stood up but we couldn’t keep possession). How could we sort that?

We will sort it because of the great support DCFC get which will allow us to invest in better quality players going forward which will result in being overrun for less than 20 mins in the future. Hope this helps.

    Nyambe  Nelson.   Cashin.   Elder

        Thompson.    Bird.   Sibley

    NML.            Collins.              CBT

Subs. Vickers, Bradley, Wilson, Adam, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, Ward, Fornah

I heard Warne say Elder is ok again so straight back in at left back.

It’s no coincidence that the pair in Quantuma were investigated for fraud when handling Portsmouth’s admin.

I have forgotten, but who was it that advised that we should use Quantama?

I don’t think “being local” is particularly significant. Burton aren’t bringing that many and I doubt many people will buy tickets in the home end just because it’s Burton Albion.

I reckon much nearer 25,000 than 30,000. Maybe less given it’s going to be damn cold and it’s live on Sky.

It's like when we play Lesster or stoke a bit meh.

Just to put another scapegoat out there..is this all down to Stephen Pearce...our "FFP expert" as Mel once said!

Warne did say he had done his bit on the transfers and it had gone upstairs to presumably Pearce to sort out. Would you trust Pearce on money matters?

  12.  This is a good opportunity to play four at the back with this defence in case it is required in the forth coming league games this month.

                         Vickers

    Nelson.   Bradley.  Cashin.  Elder

    Ward.  Thompson. Fornah. Barkhuizen

                          Sibley

                          Collins

Wilson, NML, Forsyth, TJJ to come on sometime in the second half with Bird and Hourihane available if required.
