Bridgford Ram reacted to Mostyn6 in Random stuff that people do that annoy me
I might get some support for this one, but one thing, that truly annoys me, in fact, 'annoy' is mild.
Anyway, chip shops that use frozen chips.
How f**king dare they?

At this time of year, morning and evening sun, can be a real pain when driving first or last thing as it is eye ball height, and has a habit of suddenly popping out from behind a cloud.

Fans at football matches getting their phones out and filming when a goal is scored. How about putting the flamin' thing in your pocket for once and enjoy the emotion you idiots!
Why are you even filming it? There's about 30 tv cameras doing the same thing on your behalf. Jeez.

Just to clarify, there are different currencies. Coins are used to buy players, or save up a lot to buy packs. You get coins through playing matches and selling players on the transfer market. The green currency known as FIFA points can be used to buy packs, not players. You get this by buying it from EA with real cash. You don't get given any to start with (or at least you haven't up till now on any game, it's an add on which people can choose to purchase)
By playing any mode on FIFA, you gain XP and points, which you can use to buy things from the EA catalogue. Some of the items on the catalogue are for Ultimate Team, such as the classic kits set you bought with a Rams shirt in. The more you play and achieve in any aspect of FIFA, the more points you collect to spend towards UT, career mode, celebrations etc.
i would recommend going into the catalogue, go to the ultimate team section and see what you can buy with your points (it's level dependent too) I would go for any coin boosts as it means you will get extra coins every game you play to put towards buying players for your squads. Also look at players you can buy to loan, some decent players you can test run for set amount of games.
Hope this helps

Bridgford Ram got a reaction from mattylad in Depression, anxiety, stress and other related issues
I've been wanting to post in here for nearly a week but not quite built up the courage until now. I have had a slight history with depression initially diagnosed in 2009 as Stress, Depression and Anxiety - although I am not sure what ratios I was suffering with each of them or how long I had actually been ill. Back then it was related my mum being diagnosed with a terminal illness and being made redundant and the confidence issues related to that. I had tablets from the doctor and with a couple of small setbacks have been pretty good for most of the time since.
Then on Monday there was a change at work, our MD and his number 2 have been made redundant our team are moving to be part of another. This has created a massive worry for me. It is filling all my thoughts, I am losing my appetite, struggling to sleep, not enjoying things that I previously love and not wanting to be alone as that is thinking time. My question is, when does being worried about something become something more serious?
It has brought home how my job - which is probably 75-80% of the family income - underpins everything we as a family have and I just keep replaying thoughts of everything we could lose.

Hi mate, sorry to hear that. I recognise a lot of what you are saying, especially regarding the job and the pressure it puts on us when change happens. It happens a lot in my career and it used to scare the hell out of me, and it still makes me anxious nowadays, but at a lower level.
We have a health and safety get together in the office every 2 weeks and it usually boring, however this week one of the guys did a 5 minute talk about how change in the workplace affects our mental health.
He quoted a 5 stage process of how we react to change, sorry I cant remember the name for it, but you will find it online. It sounds like you are in the first stage of "why me". Its a natural reaction that everyone will be going through. The good thing is that you a talking about it.
I try to treat new work circumstances like a new chapter of a book. I try to look forward and pick out the positives.
Try not to bottle it in, talk to friends and family. Hopefully even typing it out on this forum helps, even if its just a little bit.

Derby County 'Gift Card' - bought in ticket office by my hubby as a birthday gift back in March. Finally got round to buying a top I liked in shop - 'sorry can only use it for tickets' No problem as we go to all away matches. Next away match in ticket office 'sorry you can only use it for home tickets'.
No clear terms and conditions on the card.
We are season ticket holders so only buy tickets for cup. I could have used it for EFL cup but too late now.
Bought in March, it runs out next March so we better get a home FA cup draw or it's wasted. What a palaver!

When you watch a current entertainment programme on the telly and as if by a miracle there is no sign of James Corden anywhere. Ahhhhhhhh what a refreshing change. I've turned a negative into a positive.

Folk who antagonise animals. Just seen footage of a diver in a shark cage getting attacked by a great white who got into the cage. They lure it to the cage with food and now the shark has injured itself and swims off with blood flooding from a wound it sustained.
can't they just leave the bloody things be? They aren't there for human entertainment , tossers .

I hate it when you pay good money to go on a course to learn how to shoe horses but when you get there they just teach you how to tell donkeys to f*** off.

I keep the satnav in the glove compartment and do it properly every now and again to keep my eye in. There won't be any GPS signals when the zombie apocalypse happens and I intend to survive.

Are you just going to ask 'what type of game is it?' to every major release?
I had Watchdogs on PS4 it was a massive disappointment. Its an open world game where you are a hacker. You can hack terminals, CCTV, etc to help you get passed enemies.
