  1. Feel better soon mate. Had to stop riding bikes as I had one too many spills, so I clearly wasn't very good at it.
  2. I really liked this too. Paul Giamatti is excellent, as always.
  3. I don't hate Forest. I literally never visit their forums either, it's just fun taking the piss out of the pet gump given he's plenty to say about our travails. As for their current curve, well it looks a bit shyte for them. I watched them the other night and for the number of times that Gibbs-White actually beat another player they might as well of had Barry White instead. £38 million on that plus his salary, signing fee, agent's fees... Then there's Lingz 😂 The only guy who seems of Premier League ability is Awoniyi and they're completely lost with him out. All of that being said, when they do fall to earth, I will have a good old laugh and I won't be caring much if they hit the skids either as they were pretty cunty when the same happened to us.
  4. 20:80 Both proud Englishmen, their records on the pitch tell their own story on that score, but I don't think they feel there's any appetite for the overhaul of the English game that is now required. It took a long time for the French to employ the likes of Galthié but when they did, he fundamentally changed the set-up from the youth teams up. The RFU's main raison d'etre is lining their own pockets at the expense of English rugby fans and the game in this country. Only the Welsh have messed up their domestic teams more, but then it's jobs for the boys isn't it? It won't change while Sweeney is at the helm, that's for sure.
  5. Can you two just skip to the 'my dad's bigger than yours' bit as the early stages of the bicker have been a bit low key. Ta.
  6. I meant if you can get your balls anywhere near your.... oh never mind!
  7. Poor f******. They only play 20 minutes of actual football in any 90.
  8. Nearly a quarter of a billion on that utter shower of shoyte! They've not won in 12 games 🤣
  9. I wish, that Bamford wouldn't step within 50 miles of Derby. He sits well back and only takes pot-shots when folk are on the floor, he doesn't face them up. In reality he's smart to stay away as he has the most punchable face in Christendom and a very long queue stood out front.
  10. Need to slide Ravioli in there as ambulance chasing is hungry work.
  11. The Teams Derby County: Wildsmith (GK), Wilson, Forsyth, Hourihane (C), Cashin, Bird, Collins, Mendez-Laing, Sibley, Ward, Nelson. Substitutes: Vickers (GK), Bradley, Elder, Barkuizen, John-Jules, Fornah, Fapetu. Wycombe Wanderers: Stryjek (GK), Grimmer, Scowen (C), Forino, Leahy, Boyes, McCleary, Low, Phillips, Sadlier, Taylor. Substitutes: Ravizzoli (GK), Jacobson, Wheeler, Breckin, Vokes, Keogh, Vincent-Young.
  12. Happy birthday my tofu-quaffing, Bollinger guzzling, woke cultist comrade. Sure the lads won't let you down against the man with the tiniest car park in all of football.
  13. Got to say I'd been really disappointed with him in the handful of games he got with the squad before the RWC, but let's not forget he was the one coach to outthink Rassie in the last 4 to 5 years. We were a few minutes from reaching the final and even with the weaker side of the draw, we had no right to on any form we've seen since 2019. I want to see Steve be more Steve and less Eddie, but I can understand why he may have felt that to tinker too much might have caused as many problems as it solved. He earned massive credit with me for that, despite ignoring the claims of some promising young'uns. Roger Sweeney though, can go eat a bowl of chubbies. Seems intent on overseeing the decline of rugby in the UK and needs sacking given he's not got the class to admit he's not up to the job and step away himself. Clinging on a for a fat salary for all he's worth.
  14. I actually feel sorry for him. He was dumped in the job too near to the World Cup to change anything and the RFU seem intent on handicapping him to the hilt. Shawn of some of our top players, it's hard to see where the improvement, but Borth did take Leicester to the title in his second season there, so whilst not half full, my glass still contains some liquid. Just!
  15. Yeah, fair one, he wasn't the best, but he wasn't the worst either. He knew his songs were mostly rubbish anyway, but I reckon he worked out that if he pretended he was actually going to sing one (and everyone else best be joining in!!), someone would panic and write something he liked. I'd liken it to a more sophisticated version of deliberately breaking something expensive when asked to do the washing up, only with significantly less fallout 😂
  16. Liverpool are getting torn a new one here. The Belgians are outbattling them all over the pitch. Really odd game as Pool have dominated possession, but have struggled all game to carry the ball beyond halfway. Cracking game for the neutrals.
  17. Daniel was such an infectious lad and you've clearly gleaned how much love there is out there for him amongst us lot. One of things that has struck me most we've even had supporters from other clubs who have posted here, some signing up to do so. I've never seen that before on here and I think it's a fitting testament to a lad who really was Mr Derby. Of course it's bittersweet for you and your family, but I think you've shown a deal of the same qualities as B4 and have been very brave and dignified, even if there were times when inwardly you felt anything but. FWIW, I think we are all delighted to have made your acquaintance too (it's definitely helped us having you on here too) and you can rest assured that there will always be support when you need it from our occasionally dysfunctional, but usually compassionate members. We're here for you in B4's stead and we'll always do our best to share some B4isms and funnies to cheer you up should you feel down. There's a big back catalogue and trust me when I say that we've barely scratched the surface! With love and respects to the you and your family, 86 x
  18. Ah, my very limited understanding precludes me grasping that these things don't start and finish quickly. My Icelandic buddies tell me it's part and parcel of being an Icelander and something that Icelanders accept (no choice I suppose!) but I feel it's quite harsh land, for all that it is also beautiful. I'll just wish you and the rest of the country a merry Christmas and hopefully a less hectic new year!
  19. Het @ramit how are things looking now in Grindavík and surrounds? Hoping things are returning to some semblance of normality, though I guess tahat might take rather more time. Hope you can have a decent holiday all the same.
  20. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/dec/13/tesla-recall-us-autopilot 🤣
  21. Surely even Musky has worked out that he's ****** it into a cocked hat by now 😂
